Solid family truck
I have had mine up in the snow in montana and down in the humid heat of florida and its never let me down. Snow, gravel or mud it will get through anything and i have regular all season tires.
Trucking with style
Good year for the F150 last year of the reliable and dependable 5.4 liter V8. Repairs have been limited to mostly routine maintenance. No concerns but was always serviced by Ford dealer. Mileage is poor at about 15 in town and 18-19 on road if kept below 75 mph, Interstate speed limit in most of the state. Very good truck, towes great.

Great Looking Truck, Poor Quality
Had to replace front struts at less than 50K miles but mostly used as a road vehicle. Dome light leaked staining headliner 1st winter after purchase. Speakers in doors went out after about 10K miles. All of the above were repaired at no cost by dealer (under warranty). However, computer in 6 speed automatic transmission failed after less than 70K miles, 5K miles after warranty. Transmission cost $4K to repair. Speakers in doors have since failed again. Ford's Sync 1.0 infotainment system is a joke. An after market v2.0 Sync system is available for about $2K. Less than 80K miles and lots of noises come from joints in cab. A friend bought a full size Toyota at same time I bought my Ford much higher quality interior with much fewer interior noises.

This truck won't quit!
Got a few stories for this truck. (Owned by my mother while in the oil field) she bought it from her boss with 130000miles with super crew xlt and 4x4 with the 4.6l V8 3v now it has 238500miles and still runs great. But when it hit 201000 miles the rocker arms( they help push pistons and are part of the camshaft) broke and so did the camshaft and one spark plug was out and we drove it another 15-20 at 40mph which is great considering the conditions it was in. Torque converter went out as well but it was easy to fix but. Now I'm getting older and starting to drive literally hoping and praying I get this truck from her just bc of how it is. But it will get you out of your bad situations and won't break down often or at all if you get a ford you won't regret it unless your a Chevy fanatic. It has great power, 4x4 system, suspension, seats are durable and comfy, has a great look depending on the model/trim sync system is excellent and the factory bed liner is still all together even through everything, and if you work in your truck get a cellphone signal booster it helps for middle of nowhere situations. Hope you enjoy a ford if you get one!

Warranty problems
Traded a 2003 chevy in on a 2010 Ford F-150 (mainly price) never owned a Ford truck. always a Chevy. Anyway, since new had problems with truck, Salesman said no problem, bring it back for warranty. Ran it almost 9000 miles took it in with (5) listed problems. when I picked it up, I was told that there wasn't any problems every thing was NORMAL FOR A FORD! Problems listed were brake squeal(bad) in morning/engine noise (tap) when started up in morning/rumble noise from 35 to 40 mph (38 was real bad), windshield very blurry, my CHEVY didn't have any problems even with 130,000 miles. If I could I would trade back to Chevy IN heart beat What would you do?
