Luxury Truck
I purchased this truck after a driver ran a red light and damaged my 2009 Chevy Avalanche LTZ which was 4 months old. This truck is more comfortable, has a lot more room and the interior has a better design, materials and finish. The ride is great and the performance seems superior. The navigation system display is great, the Sonyaudio system with factory subwoofer sounds awesome. Bluetooth is much more functional than in the previous truck. The exhaust system has just enough volume to recognize it has power but not to be an annoyance. The Tuxedo Black exterior with metal flakes makes a very nice presentation in sunlight. Gas mileage is expected for a truck with this power and size.
Yes, it will draw attention, big time
I purchased the svt raptor, black on black, 6.2 L engine and the 5 month wait was worth every second. There has is not been a day go by that someone hasn't stopped me to say nice truck. It is such a joy to drive this truck , comfort and performance are top shelf. The only thing that falls off the mark is the 700w sound system by Sony. The highs waver like underwater and the bass sounds as if it trapped in a plastic bucket. I have had it back to the dealer twice with them saying that is how it is. If Ford would have gone with Bose sound this truck would have been perfect.

This Ford Rules!
So far I only have about 300 miles on this new ford, but I love it. I replaced a 2007 Chevy Avalanche which I am very loyal to Chevrolet, but when compared to this truck the Avalanche can't compare. The Ford beats the Chevy across the board. From the comfortable interior design to it's awesome exterior appearance that just WOW's anyone who see's it. It drives like a luxury vehicle and when you get inside - WOW - where did the world go. Great Job to the engineers who designed this Lariat - I do not regret the move from Chevy to Ford!
What's not to like?
I became a Ford man in '79 after a bad experience with a Pontiac. Since then I've owned three Ford cars and five Ford trucks. My 2010 F-150 Lariat supercrew is the best so far. The amenities and ride comfort are like a very nice sedan, but it is ALL truck where it counts. Handling is exceptional whether towing or not. Truck sits higher than my '05 F-150 but for some reason, they excluded the driver's side assist handle that was on my '05.
The Best Truck Yet
The 2010 Harley truck is my fifth Ford truck and my third Harley edition. I bought the '01 and '07, as well. This truck is a real joy to drive. Ford obviously made a heavy investment in the interior of this vehicle without overlooking any details. From the audio system to the seats to the spaciousness to the ambient lighting and the badging, this truck was built for luxury. While not as loud as the '07, the 2010 model is more responsive. It has a very smooth acceleration. The truck handles well and belies it's impressive height. The increased wheelbase is a welcomed change. The braking system does not jerk as is the case with many new cars and trucks. Ford has a masterpiece here.
