Used 2009 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Consumer Reviews
The best F-150 ever?
We purchased this new in 2009 because it fit our family of 5 well and even was our only vehicle for several months. That same year we had looked at Chevys, but they did not yet have side curtain airbags standard. It now has close to 154,000 miles on it and has been a terrific vehicle. The bed gets plenty of use, my only regret is that it's not a 6 foot bed! The 4.6 3 valve is a great engine, plenty of power still. My sons will be driving this truck for many more years to come. It has had a water leak from the cab bed light, but that was easily fixed with some silicone caulk. Three of the door handles have had issues, one broke and two had latches that stopped working. I also had to replace the driver's electric seat adjustment switch in 2023. Other than replacing the shocks at about 145k and routine maintenance, that has been about it. For a truck over 14 years old, it still handles well, is comfortable, and (knock on wood) has held up really well!

Next truck will be a Toyota
I will start by saying i must have purchased the lemon from all the other reviews i have read. I purchased mine in 2010 with 15000 miles on it, a beautiful black supercrew FX4, loved it up until thw 36000 mile warrenty expired. Then it started. Drivers lumbar support stopped working, half the speedometer and tackometer lights are out, rear door handle broke in half. Thats the interior. After the powertrain warranty ran out 60000 Miles I walked out to my truck one day and half the transmission fluid was on the driveway, I didn't want to drive it so I had it towed to the transmission place. I was told it was 4 quarts low. Two seals had gone so they replaced those and changed the fluid and told me it was good, never been the same since and I'm just waiting for it to go. I will say besides that it has never let me down and I do still think its a beautiful truck but I will never buy another one. It now has 78000 miles

09 F-150 King Ranch Crew 6.5' bed loaded
Fun to drive. Quick from the start. Stylish to be in. Averaging about 18 mpg. Interior is great. I love the way the seats feel with the KR leather. The back seat is much more comfortable than prior models. I love the extra 6" in the rear seat. The front seat even has more room for taller drivers. Nav is neat and the back up camera is great. Love the pickup bed step and the tailgate step. 6.5 foot bed is harder to park but that is to be expected. Still haven't figured out how to work the electronics, but I'm t rying. Cup holder in the door is good idea. Love the big gas tank. Wow, what else can I say? Not only do I love this truck, but my wife and kids do to.
Rent and drive one before you buy.
Throttle is very sluggish, 5.4 V8 is lacking in power. Body fit is good except for rubber moldings.Moldings are also starting to oxidize from sun exposure. Truck is only three months old. Body is beer can thin, dents very easily . Paint is the same way slightest scrap and you see metal.
good truck
I bought this truck new in March 09 here it is feb 14 2010 and I have 46,000 miles already. Not one problem with this truck not even a recall. Lots of money but lots of truck. I would recommend this truck.
