Used 2021 Ford Explorer SUV Consumer Reviews
Waited for the right one
I went back and forth between the ST and an Audi SQ5. I really like the cockpit all more in this one. It's more intuitive.

2021 Explorer ST
Great Truck, amazing acceleration, perfect options. Def fun to drive, my other car is a Hellcat. So the V6 Twin Turbo EcoBoost is great engine.

Good and bad
We bought a 2021 Ford Explorer Limited in 2021 and there was a noise coming from the dash somewhere that about drives me crazy. Took to dealership and we drop it for several miles and of course it did not make a sound. I leave it starts again. I have a noise that is in the side post by the door. Took it in they took door apart and said they fixed it. said it was a dime in there. Did not fix it. Both seats side plastic broke, very cheaply made. They fixed it at about 29000 miles. They are broken again. The 3rd roll seats one went up and will not go back down. I wish that Ford would put something besides plastic on the seats and use better parts. Other than that I love my Explorer. It rides and drives great. Has so many upgraded features that I Love..

My Second Love
So far very very please. The ride on a rough road is not smooth, but be mindful that it is still a truck. I still am very pleased. Compares well with other SUV’s in it’s class. Not happy with recall about backup blue screen. Had made three trips to the dealer to get fix, the software is not working - disappointed to say the least! The blue backup has not been fixed, it has been almost a year since problem gapped. Very very very disappointed in Ford-fix the problem. The cell phone charger is to small, only small phones will fit, my apple 14 is to large and will not fit!

How about a 2021 Limited 2.3 turbo that is loved??
Had the vehicle for 3 months and driven 6500 miles. Great mileage 24-28 MPG, town and interstate. Comfortable, zero problems, no rattles, no complaints. My 4th Explorer.
