This is why we need an Excursion.
This is my families fifth Excursion. We make 50 mile round trip to take 5 kids to school each week day and 50 miles to pick up in afternoon. Also 200 mile round trip to the city each weekend for shopping.
BEST SUV ON ROAD FOR SIZE
THE VERY BEST TOO BAD FORD IS GIVING INTO THE ENVIROMENTALIST. THIS IS YOUR LAST YEAR TO BUY AN EXCURSION. I BOUGHT MY 2ND ONE WHEN THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY FIRST ONE JUST TO PICK UP 2 YEARS ON MODEL.
Ultimate Hauler
This is mysecond Excursion purchased in the last four years. The 2004 6.0 liter diesel engine and redesigned transmission are vastly improved over my 2000 7.3 diesel engine and transmission. This new vehicle has unlimited power and is delivered smoothly and very quietly for a diesel once it has reached temperature.Fuel economy looks promising and will certainly improve as the engine breaks in.
Murphydog
I feel if you have the right style you will enjoy this vehicle.
Dual Excursion Family
We own two Excursion, a 2001 and now a 2004 - We love them! Great for pulling heavy things and for a large family. Plenty of room for kids, friends and all the gear
