What is the S3?
The Audi S3 was fully redesigned for 2022 with updates that made this small sedan even more appealing. Seated between the Audi A4 and the RS 3, the S3 is a lively compact sedan that delivers on the comfort, performance and tech fronts for a price that won't leave you dry. With a full redesign so recent, we don't expect it to change significantly for the 2024 model year.
The S3 is one of the smallest luxury sedans around but has a personality of a larger and more dominant car. It isn't the RS 3, but the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder churns out 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque that'll surely get your adrenaline pumping. Mate that to a seven-speed dual-clutch and all-wheel drive, and you have yourself a sufficiently potent sport sedan that you can take to the track without sacrificing everyday comfortability.
Inside the S3, expect sporty yet comfortable seats. Even though the S3 seems small from the outside, the interior grants you enough space to pleasantly ride around town. Technology is up-to-date with multiple USB-C ports, an available head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an optional wireless charging pad. Even at the lowest trim level, the S3 comes with plenty of standard features, and we don't expect that to change with the 2024 Audi S3.
The S3 is a great small luxury sport sedan, and we think it fares well against its competitors like the Mercedes-Benz CLA, the BMW 2 Series and the Genesis G70. Its biggest drawback: It offers a bit less cargo room and backseat space than its rivals.
