I love my Edge Sport! The acceleration is fantastic. Very Comfortable, easy for an old guy like me to get in and out. The rear camera is now something I cannot live without (I hate driving my other vehicles that don't have one.) There are so many bells and whistles that even after a year I am still learning about them. I live in the mountains and drive it hard and get 19 MPG. Our roads washed out last year so I had to drive everyday up and down a muddy fire trail. It was no problem with the AWD. I only have 3 issues to complain about. The tires that came with it (pirelli) are easy to puncture on the sidewall causing me to have to buy 2 new tires during the past year ($275 each). At 35,000 miles I switched to Aturo tires that I got from Walmart for less than half the price of the Pirellis that rode as well and no punctures for 30,000 miles. I just replaced them with the same. I am still dealing with very slight oil leaks from the oil pan. Ford replaced it twice under warranty. Other than that I love the car. I would buy another one if something happened to this one.

2016 Ford Edge Titanium 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A)

I have happily owned my 2016 Ford Edge Titanium 4WD since March 2017 when I bought it directly from the dealership with 7 miles on it. It should be noted that I was in a wreck and totaled my used 2015 Ford Edge Titanium after only owning for a year.. I loved it enough to buy the exact same car again (but in a different color at least). I had minor issues with the first Edge, tail lights holding condensation inside, a weather strip that would not stay on by the sun roof that would fly off in the car wash, but nothing like the problems I've had with my 2016 Edge. I am taking now for the second time with a year for MAJOR engine work at ~80k miles. The first occasion was after vicious rumbling that $300 work of work couldn't solve. After throwing a new serpentine belt tensioner at it, I was told it was within the engine and needed to go back to Ford. Turns out it was a cracked flywheel. 3 weeks in the shop and over $2k of work later and it's fixed..... for a bit. Now 8 months later and after $600 worth of engine tune up I'm told it has to be returned to the dealership yet again. This time for a TBD cracked cylinder or blown head gasket. My car continues to get the error "misfire on the first cyclinder". I have loved my Edge inside and out but it seems Ford can't get the most important piece correct -the engine. If I wasn't upside down in it between trade in value and remaining car loan I'd get rid of this thing in a heart beat and leave Ford in the dust. If you're determined to buy Ford -BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I'm proof that you WILL need it. Thanks for the lemon Ford. I'll continue trying to make lemonade out of my 2 year old car for the next few years until I can off load this hunk of expense JUNK.

This crossover feels more expensive than it was. Leather interior is top notch, large comfortable seats all around. The new sync 3 system is very intuitive and easy to use, navigation works like a charm. 4cyl engine is sufficient enough this a family car not a race car folks. Handles well and we are really enjoying this vehicle.....highly recommend it.

Have a few issues but Ford is working on them. Dealership is doing everything they can. Hopefully will be resolved soon. Updated: Bought the Edge on February 12, 2016. Had it back to the dealer several times within a year. Turn signals don't always click. Had to be towed to the dealer for a new battery at 6 months. A couple of months later, all the lights relating to the braking system came on and all the alarms for them went off. Had to turn it off and restart to make it quit. In February of 2017, the air conditioner came back on 3 times after turning it off. Contacted Ford. They won't do ANYTHING about it...it's "over a year old". First and LAST Ford for me!! Funny I should get a request to update this review. Still have the same issue with the turn signals and now I’ve gotten a message on my screen that says it’s shutting down system to save battery power. Ford still can’t find anything. Worst mistake I’ve ever made with a car.

2016 Ford Edge

A few years ago I got a 2008 Ford Edge and it had tons of problems shortly after buying it. I had an $800 fan replacement done; then the same day it overheated once I got it home. So I took it to Carmax and they offered me 2k for it because the transmission was slipping as well. I loved the look of it as well as the space, so I figured maybe if I got a newer model I wouldn’t have issues. Unfortunately not the case. I got a 2016 Ford Edge titanium and the day I drove it home from the dealership it leaked all coolant and the engine light came on. We added more coolant and the problem went away for about a week. Then the engine light came on again. Basically it needed an entire new engine which costed 7,300$. Luckily I had a great warranty which covered this cost. Apparently this is a common issue in this car. The coolant leaks into the engine and destroys it over time. I am now looking to trade this in to avoid future issues. I don’t think I will ever purchase a Ford again.
