The best car I have ever owned...
The Crown Vic is the best car I have ever owned. I have had no major problems and it has always been a joy to drive. I have owned Chevys, an F150, Dodges, Mazdas, Hondas, Toyotas, and a Lexus and the Crown Victoria is the best, hands down.
Dad's old car
At 87 years old my Dad decided he had to stop driving and offered me a deal on his Crown Vic LX which he had since new. I had driven it before and liked it although the Champagne color didn't please me or my wife. After 5 years I love it, she hates it. We moved from CA to ME and had it shipped since it had no mileage to speak of. Performance it great, gas mileage is good, and comfort can't be beat. I want another one but doesn't look good for me. Great car!
Worth it
Excellent vehicle for the money.
Buy one.
This is the best car ever owned. Currently, there are 232,000 miles on the original engine, and the car is still running like new. It "swooshes" down the highway, and because of the reliability of this vehicle, the Crown Victoria of all other cars, it is the most cost conscious car of all. The yearly repairs amount to maybe $500, and that is only because of the wear and tear factor of driving 25,000 miles/year; oil changes, brakes, tire rotations, minor repairs. This is the best car ever. Buy one today!!!
Ford CV has been a very fine car.
At age 84 I have owned quite a few vehicles from Mercedes and Cadillac and many others. This Ford CV has been a excellent vehicle especially mileage which on the road pushes 29 MPG. It has required very little maintenance: ignition and plugs changed once in 130000 miles, also auto transmission overhauled. An excellent automobile that I intend to keep until I cannot drive any more. Used price way below its value.
