The good, bad, and ugly.
Bought my car 4/02. Took 3 months to wipe the grin off my face. By 9/02 it had been in the shop more than 30 days, and I've now filed for the lemon law. Build quality and comfort are atrocious, but I still love driving it every now and again. Loved owning it, can't wait to get rid of it.

Bought my 2002 Final edition GTS in May of 2004 with 11,000 miles on it. 20 years later I have 58,000 plus miles and have only had one issue with it. Extremely reliable and I get more stares and thumbs up than any other Exotic that I've owned including Aston Martin models and Porsches. Love the drive and massive torque. I still smile every time I look at the car and I'm never selling it. My wife has standing instructions that when I go I am to be cremated and some ashes will be buried in the viper somewhere. The rest of the ashes will go in a red urn with white stripes. This car has been my therapy for the last 20 years and I'm fortunate to have been able to afford and own such a classic. The 2002 Final edition will become the 67 Vette of our generation.

Bought it for the looks but I came to appreciate the build quality & reliability. Everyone, young & old, takes a 2nd look at this car. I smile every time I look at it, too. I love this car and look forward to driving it every time.
Most Incredible American Muscle Car
Most exhilarating drive I have ever experienced. This is my third Viper and can't seem to find a peer for sheer adrenaline rush that this car provides.
Dodge Viper
Horrible. Broke every 600 miles. Bad gas mileage. Approximately 13 mpg. Headlights never worked.
