Used 2004 Dodge Neon Sedan Consumer Reviews
My Neon SXT
I love my Neon and it's not just for teenagers......I'm 37 and I love driving my car and so do my teenagers. It's for grown ups too.
Neon interior
I enjoy this car very much, it's got power when I need it, runs fairly quite ging down the highway. However, the interior can leave you with desire though. The side to side room(for us long legged people), is not quite enough, and the gas and brake pedal could use a little more seperation. But after 4 months, thats really all I can complain about.

great car
The 2004 Dodge Neon SXT is one of the best economy cars around. I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX and the Neon beats the Civic. The Civic is a bit more luxurious, but has a bland character. The Neon is fun to driver, it has nice personality and is very refined for '04. I paid 13,550 for my Neon, but i paid 16,870 for my Civic and i enjoy my Neon so much more. Its comfortable, powerful, great audio system, smooth, quiet, big windows.
SXT review
Overall my car was very reliable. The only problem I have had since rebuilding the engine is the power control module in this car which I think is a problem. I was looking for a recall on this but did not find one. Also it could get better gas mileege. I added one of those tornados to the air intake which increased fuel economy by 3 more miles.
Budget Wheels in KC
We bought our Neon new off the lot. I wish we would have ordered it out the way we wanted it, but all in all we did OK. We have taken this car on several road trips and found it to be excellent on the highway (except for a bit of road noise). Driving in snow is a bit of a challenge though. The trick is to keep excellent tires on the car! I find the engine weak, but reliable and I am always concerned by the clatter she makes when she starts up. To my surprise, a weak battery caused several sensors to go nuts and report three different codes. Thankfully, an excellent mechanic figured it out, replaced the battery and we are ready for another 70K in this little car!
