Used 2018 Dodge Charger Sedan Consumer Reviews
My 18 charger sxt with blacktop edition option
I like how my car looks. It gets 29 mpg highway. I have the 3.6. It has 292 hp. Plenty of performance. Cruises well at higher speeds and has good acceleration in the 45-70 mph range for freeway merging. I’m glad I bought this engine. It is Rear wheel drive, which I prefer. The 8 speed transmission is outstanding. Downshifts feel matched and crisp. The steering nicely telescopes far rearward. My disappointments are the seat cushion is short. It doesn’t match the tall seat back. And the radio speakers are the worst sounding car audio system I’ve ever heard. I’m going to have to aftermarket upgrade the speakers and have something else put in. I’ve heard JBL is a good replacement brand for the charger.

Fantastic automobile and a great price
Traded in a low-mileage '15 Challenger SXT Plus on our '18 SXT Plus Leather Charger after our grandson was born for the utility of a four door. It wasn't easy to find one in B5 blue with no sunroof, but it was worth the search. The car is gorgeous. The ride and handling are excellent. The balance of power and economy with the V6 is awesome. Rear visibility suffers as it does in the Challenger, but I am extremely happy with the vehicle. I had an Impala as a service loaner for a day and was quite impressed with that and wondered why they didn't sell better. Then, I tried out the Charger and the Impala dropped out of contention. As of late February 2023, I am about four and a half years into the ownership experience and am still very happy with this car. The radio screen delaminated but was replaced under warranty. Other than that, it's been trouble free. It's February 2024 and I've recently traded the Charger toward the purchase of a Durango. Other than the radio being replaced under warranty, the only "repair" needed in about five and a half years was a new battery in August 2023. Great vehicle. Solid, comfortable, economical.
