was this car made with me in mind?
I upgraded from a 1995 Dodge Intrepid (3.0 V6) to the Charger SXT (3.5 V6). I can feel the extra .5 liters of power. I fell in love with my Charger as soon as I saw it. Once I sat inside I knew we were meant to be together. After I started driving, I knew this beautiful beast was made with me in mind. This car has everything I want.
Charge!
Love my R/T so far. 1400 miles on it. Stock performance is fantastic, but even greater with a programmer; V8 sound literally turns heads. Not a fan of the MDS sound when 4 cyl's turn off. Seat comfort is wonderful; plenty of room for 5 passengers, especially in rear seat. Fits my family very well. Hard to keep foot of gas. HDD system is nice but not as sophisticated as other systems. Sound system is very nice and the bass pumps. Wish car had hood struts instead of the metal stand. Wish a couple other convenience items were standard - see below. This car is worth the money. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a car this much.

Great Family Sedan
This is a great family Sedan. The 3.5L V 6 has power when you need it but is still good on gas.
Great sports sedan
Bought this 2009 used with (13000 miles) in May,"for my wife". She loves it except that the ride is a bit rough on bumpy roads. The car drives great and has lots of room for passengers. It's quiet and feels solid. I was very skeptical about the gas mileage with the hemi V8,but am very impressed so far. 368 H.P and deliver 26- 27 M.P.G. on freeway trips is outstanding.
Nice Ride with average reliability!
I purchased this vehicle pre-owned and it was 2 or three years old. It is the 2010 Charger SXT with the HO V-6. The vehicle had a loud tapping noise in the engine and the salesman told me that the repairs would be covered under the powertrain warranty. I purchased the vehicle and the dealership replaced both rocker arms under warranty repair. On 10/4/14 the fuel pump went with only 40 k miles on the vehicle. It's a pretty easy job, as you can access the pump simply by popping off the rear seat. I replaced the pump myself and it burned out again after about a week. Then I realized that if you change the primary pump you have to change the secondary pump too, because the secondary pump is also the fuel filter. So with that said, the fuel pump issue was resolved. About a year later the ABS light come on because of a bad wheel speed sensor on the left front wheel. Easy repair, did it myself. My rack and pinion failed at 84k. I replaced it myself, which without a lift is a difficult job. Took me about 6 hours using hand tools and jack stands. I Saved about $1200 by doing it myself. Of course had to pay for the alignment at the local tire shop. Overall this is a smooth riding car, and as reliable as the average "American" made car. I am getting close to the 100k mark on this vehicle and according to the maintenance schedule, the timing belt should be replaced. Has anyone tried doing this themselves? How difficult is changing the 3.5 HO timing belt?

Smooth Power
I traded in a Jeep to get a Charger and was really happy I did. The AWD feature is great for driving in the snow and wet conditions. The 5.7L Hemi has incredibly smooth power that gets up and goes without jerky motions. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a big car with power and lots of room. So far it is also getting decent gas mileage
2010 Dodge Charger Rallye Rocks!
I've only had the car a few days, but I already love it. I traded in a 2005 Dodge Neon, so this is a serious upgrade. This car has plenty of power. Highway passing is accomplished with ease. I love the size of this vehicle as well. It's huge, which is great for me as I have 2 kids. I can easily get my daughter into her car seat, and there's still room for 2 adults in the back seat. Trunk space is great too. This is really a great family sedan. And this is a good looking vehicle as well. I got the optional 20 inch chrome wheels and it really makes this car standout. One thing you might have to get used to is people coming up to you and asking you about the car. It is a head turner.
She is My Lady
I bought my 2010 Charger SXT used from a family friend's dealership. She had 11,900 on her and was a former rental car. That was back in Jan 2011. Nearly five years later, I am so sad that I have begun looking at new cars. But it's not due to poor aging. This car is as magnificent as the day I got her. I love my Midnight with all my heart. Maintaining her has been child's play. Oil and fluids on schedule and only had to replace the brakes, rotors, and tires once. Everything else is original equipment. There have been no major problems. After almost five years and 70,000 miles on the odometer, Midnight still thrills me every time I drive her. Gas mileage has been great. Highway driving was smooth. And she is tough. A traffic cone caught her on the nose and there was only a minor crack to her bumper. The only reason I am trading her in at the end of the year is I finally have a good enough credit rating to afford a brand new car. I can say without a doubt, I will be getting a new Charger. Dodge gave me a great product and I will remain loyal, possibly for life. I hate to see Midnight go. But after seeing one in deep blue, I fell in love with the Charger all over again. Only a Challenger could possibly change my mind. I think I'll call my new car...Luna.

Love this car
Just bought my Charger a couple of months ago and I really love it. Had an old BMW 740 that was heavy but fast, and honestly this has just as much pickup in a tight spot. I have the 3.5L V6 but I drove the 2.7. Glad I got the extra HP. Great going around turns, smooth braking.
Problem child
Owned this rig for less than 2 months. Have barely 1500 miles on it and the sun roof doesn't work, the tire sensors flash on the dash board, the passenger window fell off the track and it has a vibration the the dealer can't find. All these problems have been looked at 3 times and still no satisfaction. As soon as my warranty runs out, I'm going back to a quality German made car!
Avoid Chargers
Car was parked for three days without driving. Wife went to get something out of the car and in less than an hour later, the car was totaled due to a fire that started in the passenger headlight (from unlocking the thing). Dodge denies there is any manufacturer defect so I guess gremlins must have caused the thing to destroy itself. Funny thing is less than three weeks later here in our town, a lady was driving a '12 Charger and had to pull over when it caught fire and was totaled - started in the passenger headlight. Dodge denies responsibility yet these vehicles have a tendency to catch fire. Couple that with the fact police departments are jumping on the chance to move to other vehicles due to problems with these cars. Again, avoid buying Chargers.

One Fun Ride
After owning a Honda Accord Coupe for 12 years driving a full sized American sedan was thrilling. Haven't owned an 8 cylinder car for about 26 years so having some Detroit iron around me again was gratifying. I am still getting used to her but this car is a real head turner and an absolute thrill to drive. If you're looking at American sedans you must consider the Charger.
My R/T
Love this car, but I think I got a lemon. Nothing but one mechanical problem after another.

Midlife crisis think not ,just having
I ordered my 2010 r/t in June to take advantage of the large rebate they had at the time, traded in my 07 ram 4x4, I really enjoy the car, I ordered in blue the had a custom shop add decals in silver. My only complaint is the car even with top of the line snow/ice tires it can be difficult to handle in Canadian winters /note this is a rwd model other then that the car gets unbeatable mileage for a v/8 car this size. And boy does it go!
Great Full Size Car
I replaced an AWD Magnum with this AWD Charger. A lot has been updated in five years in this essentially similar Dodge. First thing noticed is the improved interior. The seats are still firm, supportive and comfortable, but the trim and finishes in the Charger are much nicer, with brushed metallic accents against charcoal. The AWD system now reverts to two wheel drive when AWD isn't needed. This nets a couple more miles per gallon. I'm averaging just under 23 mpg in mixed suburban and expressway driving on my 45 mile trip to work. Most recent tank of gas got me 28.5 mpg, truly impressive for a large, very solid vehicle. Handling is secure, and AWD great in slippery weather.
Voom Voom see my dust ?
I got my 2010 RT 7 weeks ago. Already, put on 4k miles on it, and I love this baby. i traded my 06 charger SE, v6, 2.7 liter engine, had that one for 3 years and had 100K when i traded it in. Never had a problem besides dragging on the road, that's why i got another Charger. My RT does a better gas millage that the other one, i get 19-21 on street, and 21-25 on the freeway in decent driving. Just got it dropped and put on my 22 inch wheels on it and i get all the looks. Dodge has come a long way building a reliable car. Just do a test drive and you will know what i am talking about.
What great cars are made of
I ordered my charger in June /09 while there was a large rebate on them all together over 13,000 in discounts but their wasn't any 09 out there so I got a 2010 with the same rebates. The car is deep blue water Pearl that I had a custom shop put some decals on it in silver the car performs very well and gets great mileage for a car this size with a v/8. I find the car very comfortable even on long drives. I have had several cars including performance cars and this car comes close to my old cuda for fun to drive yet way more comfortable and reliable /my only complaint is even with top of the line snow/ice tires you have got to be very careful and drive slower or you will find yourself in trouble
Love This Car
I've only had this car for about a month, but I truly enjoy driving it. I drove the car across country one week after purchasing it and I got great mileage for this type of vehicle. It was really comfortable, even for hours on end. The handling is great, and even the 3.5 L has enough get-up-and-go.
Vvroom
My wife and I bought our brand new Deep water blue Charger SXT AWD a week ago. We love it! Hugs turns and charges ahead in the higher RPM band. We are already compliments from passersby about the handsome looks of this car. My wife and I are very different heights, but this is no problem with the adj. pedals and telescopic steering wheel. Rear seats fit our childrens car seats with room to spare. This car fits our family like glove. 256 miles is not enough for accurate review, will post again later.
