Used 1998 Chrysler Town and Country Consumer Reviews
240,713 miles
Had to memorialize the old family fan; it was taken away for recycling today after 14 years of faithful service. It probably would have lasted longer except it was driven exclusively by my kids for the last five years and was abused terribly. Near the end it was using a quart of oil a week. Never the less it was a great kid hauler.
Lots of Miles and I still love it!
This is the second Town and Country I've owned and with 91,000 miles on it, I can report it has been virtually trouble free. Far superior build quality to my first one (1994). One electronic component and one speaker have been replaced, both under waranty, but that's it for unscheduled work. The overall comfort of the ride for driver and passengers is what makes this a pleasure to drive. Long trips are a breeze in this vehicle.
Phenomenal upscale family hauler
What a great minivan. We bought it anticipating the birth of our 3rd baby, and it has delivered in a big way. Roomy, quiet, comfy, plenty of gitty- up, all the bells and whistles. We especially like the quad seating, which allows access to the 3rd row without getting out. Average 18 mpg, wonderful family hauler. We like it so much we're looking for another Chrysler for me!
never again
What a disappointment. Purchased new for over $30K, parts were breaking almost immediately. It had an oil leak that I took to different dealerships with no results until the vehicle came out of warranty, same with the breaks. This vehicle was very poorly made, and I will never buy Chrysler again!
Nice Car But Loud Idle Rattle
We bought our van used with 76,000 miles. It is a pleasure to drive and we love the comfort inside. We have taken several long trips in it and it performed marvelously. We now have 138,000 miles and are looking at buying another used van.
