You Gotta Have This Car
I purchased a 2006 300C SRT8 from Carmax and am VERY pleased. The SRT8 has great luxury features (I compare to my Lincoln Town Car) and has superior features to the other 300s. The handling is superb, brakes are unreal, and the 6.1 hemi is the ultimate. An American muscle car V8 to the max. It has incredible throttle response, awe-inspiring power, and a delicious muscle car sound. Sedate and well mannered, it nevertheless will pull like a freight train heading into a black hole when you put your foot in it. Downsides? Compared to my Town Car, it's noisy. Gas mileage ain't in the stratosphere. Plusses? It sticks to the road like glue, has every luxury feature known to man, & HEMI!
My SRT-8
I love my new 300!!!! After a waiting period of over 10 months before it came in. The overall fun factor is great (speed, braking, and headturning looks I get). The ride is firm but it's my everyday car. Chrysler/Mercedes hit the nail right on the head with this one. Right now, if I had to buy another one, I would. The gas mileage is better than the suv I just traded.

American Pride is Back!
I love the fact that the 300 SRT8 is a classy looking car that I can use for business, yet doubles as my dream weekend car. The performance and handling is nothing short of astounding for the price. For an everyday vehicle, it doesn't get any better than this.
chrysler 300c srt8
this is the fastest and quickest car i have ever owned. gas mileage is at 16mpg in every day driving.it does require premium gas. the tire pressure monitors are a real help in maintaining correct air pressure. i would like oil pressure gauge rather than searching thru the menu for it. but this is a keeper.
Can't wait 'til break-in period is over.
Just picked up my new '06 300 SRT8 yesterday. Previously had a 2000 Caddy STS. Took some reading thru the manual to find out all the cool features, which meet or exceed the Caddy. Car has a great combination of power/acceleration, handling, and braking. All in a package that is comfortable, quiet, and reasonably refined. Just close the doors on one and you'll immediately sense the Mercedes-Benz spillover. Some interior bits aren't as plush or refined as MB or Audi's are, but for $20k less (or more), it's a tradeoff I was willing to take. I got a big car with plenty of space, gobs of performance, and tons of features.
