Best deal for the money
This is my fourth Impala and definitely the best. I previously owned a 2000,2003,2012, and now the 2016 LTZ. I'm looking forward to trading this one in for a 2020 next year, possible the last Impala Chevy will make. The technology is amazing. I'm still learning new things, even after three years. Nothing is perfect so here are a few of the cons: 1. There is still some minor jerking in the transmission, but not as bad as past years. 2. The gps/navigation system is a nightmare, not user friendly at all. 3. The tachometer is completely useless in a car like this, the space on the dash could be put to much better use. 4. Never could get the "garage door opener feature" to work, finally gave up trying. Hopefully Chevy will have resolved some of these problems in the 2020.

2016 chevy impala ltz MIDNIGHT EDITION
I bought this brand new after owning a 2005 brand new. This thing rides like a caddie.. But the reason I felt compelled to write this is the tires. 19" low profile sport. Spring/summer/fall driving is awesome. BUT>>>>>>>> Do not buy this car if you live in a snow zone, and you are going to use it in the snow. The tires are trash is snow, and those sexy rims, constantly get build up and cause vibrations on the road. So if you are looking for this used (the midnight edition is sharp!!) take this into consideration.

Not your Father's Impala
Excellent ride and handling. Gas mileage around 23MPG. Go with the V6. the power is greater, and the MPG is about the same as the four cylinder. This vehicle rides like a luxury car. without the high price tag and need for premium fuel.

Dont drive this car in the snow!
Impala is so bad in snowy weather. Will need winter tires ( added expense ) if you live in the Midwest. Car slips all over the roads. GM shouldn't put high performance tires on this car. BEWARE All impala's leave dealer with low profile tires!! Winter tires help but not by much. Front tires are too far forward on such a large car. Makes it harder for the car to pull its weight around. Very fast car though. Looks terrific. Fuel Pump failed twice. Left me stranded twice. Paint has chipped away at the front end leaving an unsightly black mark the size of my fist. GM Dealership didn't want to pay for paint repair under warranty. BEWARE Car has VERY cheap paint. Way too many cost cutting measures by GM. GM hasn't changed a bit over the years! Next time I'm getting a Honda Accord.
