Inequitable Equinox
The particular 2020 Equinox I am finance purchasing is not meeting up to my expectations. It sways during high speed on the highways. The gas mileage sucks. Air and water leaks through top of driver side window. I drove off the lot with it on January 16, 2024, and it is has been in service repair shop for two weeks now, today's date is February 12, 2024. This is causing a major disruption in my life's plans. I am so disappointed. I also feel a though I have taken advantage of based on my identity.

NEEDS Improvement
The clock is a clear after thought, when it’s probably the most frequently referenced and of high Importance. If you don’t have perfect 20/20 vision, but don’t need glasses for most of your day. Reading the clock takes your attention of the roadway seconds longer than required. A SECOND callus oversight is the location of the turn signal indicator. It’s NOT clearly visible. It is not on the side mirror, but down low on the side of the headlight. I’ve had cars turn into me not noticing the low signal indicator. Also when using AppleCar play for navigation 60% of the time it freezes up if you get a phone call You can get your GPS back, which is frightening because you are following directions. So you have to struggle with resetting it for far too long. Disconnect your cell phone and reconnect it and set up directions again usually solves it.

Comparing Cheve Equinox, HondaCRV or Toyota RAVA
Better off if it is small 1.5 engine & FWD with Honda CRV and Toyota RAVA for good ride and gas mileage.
Equinox Awesomeness
I love this car. It's small enough to fit into the spaces in the horribly designed parking lots but also big enough to load up for a trip---complete with dog and his kennel! GREAT on gas and easy to drive.

I'd Buy Another!
I like everything about this vehicle except the tires that came with it, but that was rectified last year.

Have been impressed with the 2.0 engine and the premier package.

Great car!
A Cautionary Tale: An Unexpected Money Pit
The first major issue that has loomed large over my ownership experience is the problematic fuel to intake ratio. Despite diligent maintenance and servicing as recommended by Chevrolet, I have had to invest money into fixing this issue - a staggering sum upwards of $1000. The problem continues to persist, making me wonder, what is next on this vehicle's list of malfunctions? The comfort quotient of the Equinox is another area that has been largely unsatisfactory. The front driver's seat is especially uncomfortable. Long drives have become a rather painful ordeal - an inconvenience that's hard to ignore in a car that should ideally excel in this aspect. In terms of performance, the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox leaves a lot to be desired. The vehicle's acceleration, particularly, is sluggish at best. However, I'm assuming this can be attributed to the persistent issue that I have been dealing with. To sum it up, the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox has been a disappointing acquisition. It's not a car that I can recommend with any measure of enthusiasm. I purchased it with the intention of avoiding repair costs and enjoying a smooth and comfortable ride. However, the reality has been anything but. In fact, I find myself regretting the purchase, wishing I had chosen differently. This experience has left me wary and cognizant of the importance of thorough research and test drives before any future vehicle purchases.

The TRUTH
Car is trash, I have premier 2020. Worst vehicle I have ever driven. If you want a light weight, no power with the ride equivalent to a horse n buggy constantly driving over a cobblestone road then this is your car. Fishtails with AW drive going. Sound system is a joke for a Premier package. Front seats are so uncomfortable, back is way better. Decent room inside for all children. Chines parts assembled in Mexico, like a ROCK baby. Never will purchase ANY Chevy again. This vehicle has taken the fun out of driving.
