2019 Equinox
A little bit noisy on highway... needs sound deafening. I think I will try undercoating to see if that helps. Turbo provides great response. Drives well. Looks sharp. Very competitively priced. Good value for smaller SUV.
Great Vehicle
Out of all the vehicles I've driven and owned from several car brands in the past - may it be American, Japanese, German, British or Korean - only two of them made me feel like I was one with the car. I've found the third one in my Equinox. I feel so confident and comfortable driving my Equinox. It drives and functions as I need it to be with great ease. I love driving this vehicle.

Loved the test drive!
I absolutely love the outside design and love even more that the car can come in ivy green metallic. The ride was very comfortable and the handling response was excellent! The front and back seats very very comfortable and (for me) very huggy. I was a devout Nissan lover but now the Equinox is getting my consideration! I’m interested in seeing if I can get a good deal on a lease!

IT'S AN OK SUV
Compaired to my gmc terrain i had this is much less of a user friendly suv. hate the new keyless key. you have to be on top of the car to make it unlock. The sun roof has to be opened with 2 different buttons. The gas milage is excellant!!! The ride is not as stiff as the terrain. Although the level of the car is lower. I felt i could see better in the terrain. All in all its not a bad car. next car i will be going back to gmc.

great little car
i have a 2919 lt model , sharp looking has most safety features, lacking which are 2 and that is forward collision and lane guidance or what ever you call it, im a large man and think it's comfortable to drive, sharp looking, and almost scary on take off, down side is all black interior.
My new lumber wagon
This is a very nice SUV , I will stay with this kind of SUV because everything is just perfect, except that it rides very rough, you can feel every bump in the road and it sounds like a race car. reminds me of the old model A I used to own

Great vehicle
Love this. Lots of room and amenities!
My new ride!
My new ride! This is my second equinox, I traded in a 2014 for the 2019. The newer equinox has quite a few more features and that’s what I was looking for.
Nice Equinox
I just bought my car the other day and love it! It has approx 37000 miles on it and no service record of anything going wrong like I read in other reviews of this model. I test drove several other vehicles but came back to the Equinox because it drove really nice and was comfortable to sit in (I'm 5'11"). I plan to keep this one for years to come, so hopefully no major issues.
I love my equinox
I love it...good gas mileage. Comfy ride i bought mine with 29000 miles on it i now have 40279 and still love it

From Dodge To Chevy
First off, I've only had the vehicle for two weeks. I want to get the reminder emails to update this review since I use Edmunds as a resource when I care shop. We chose the Equinox based on our price range ($15,750), MPG (averaging 31), SUV, and the engine we wanted in a compact SUV (4 Cyl Turbo). I test drove a total of three Equinox's, posts about compact SUV's needing to have a turbo if it's a 4 cyclinder is somewhat right, it probably depends what you are used to. I previous had a 4 cyl so I was used to the "power" and the newer 4 cyl have improved overtime. I did go with the turbo since there were so many posted about. Currently, my only complaint about the vehicle is the turbo sounds a little weird. I've never had a turbo charged engine before, it could just be normal sounding. I've talked to my father in law and he said that turbos can sound different depending on what fuel is used so I'll be trying that out at some point to include in my next post. Anyway, the positives for me rank in reliability, durability, and longevity. We got this Equinox at 59900 miles. I'm looking forward to reporting back and giving good feedback overtime. UPDATE: I've now had my used 2019 Chevy Equinox for a year. I got it at just under 60,000 Miles on it, currently has about 75,000 on it now. It's ran very well and I haven't had to take it in for any type of issues. It seems like the oil change is due closer to the 5,000K than it is for 7,500K based on the usual 5000-7500 miles for synthetic oils. It could be from the way I drive; however, I've been told I drive like a grandma. Since I've had it, the air compressor makes a funny noise when I have the A/C on. I don't know much about the A/C system but I'm willing to bet it's got an issue that needs addressed. Other than the noise, there are no performance issues. Only having 75,000 miles on it, maybe the previous owner abused the A/C? Tire wear seems average (haven't had to change them yet), fluid levels have been consistent, topping them off during an oil change. If it matters to you, chagning the oil yourself on it is easy, no jack or stands needed. Other than that, it gets the job done; I get from point A to point B safely (and reliably)!

Pros and Cons
I’ve had my 2019 Premier for about 3 1/2 years now (bought used with low mileage). The features are nice - heated rear seats was a big hit with my son - and there are plenty of other bells and whistles to talk about. My biggest complaint is the sunroof. It leaks. A lot. Whenever it rains hard. Into the trunk. Into the main cabin. At one point there was about 2” of water built up in the spare tire basin, just floating around and making things rusty before I realized and drained it. The water also leaks across the fuse boxes causing glitches until it fully dries. The drain holes plug up easily and the water just flows wherever it can. I just got rid of it. Wasn’t worth the hassle.
Bring Back The 2.0
The 2.0L engines offers the best balance of performance and economy. After 5 years of ownership, I find the Equinox to be very reliable and easy to service. I have no complaints other than GM "please bring back the 2.0L engine."
