Bad to the bone
This is the 23rd Corvette I have owned. I did not trade my Red 2002 Z06 as it only has 6000 miles on it since I bought it new. I like the old hardtop style and I wish the 2007 had the same roofline as the '02. The '07 is way smoother to drive and does not show any kind of raw power until you want it to. I have never had a Corvette like this one. A real sleeper. My wife would never know what it was capable of. It is a pure rocket ship, but much more predictable than the '02, which is a 'twitchy' ride. The new one is so different it's hard to describe. Awesome sound system and navigation system. Rides and steers like it's on railroad tracks and stops instantly. The raw pulling power is brutal!
Better as time passes
Edmunds has asked for another update on my 2007 Corvette convertible and since I’m just 3 payments from owning it all by myself it’s time to review it for what it is - a used car. Which is not a bad thing in the late pandemic economy as all used car prices have skyrocketed. So my experience hasn’t been all peaches and cream, much as I love this car. The convertible top mechanism had to be replaced by a Chevy dealer for $1,600. Now I find that I need a new fuel pump since the original leaks, leaving the garage permeated with the smell of raw gasoline. GM knew it was a problem but avoided a recall and now it’s a 15 year old car needing $3,200 more donated to my friendly Chevy dealer. I work at a parts store and bought a new pump for under $200 that I’m working up the courage to install. Did I mention that it’s a 15 year old used car? So yeah, some expensive repairs for sure, but it’s a Corvette. That’s all you need to know.

Z06 whats not to like
I am 63 years old and have driven performance cars most of my life. I was and still am a Ford guy, however! owning this car is not like my mustangs faster than your camaro. This is a whole different arena. This thing is a beast, pure and simple its made to look good and back it up. I have had compliments from import, mopar, and ford guys on how nice this car is. It does sit low so for an old fat man it is a little difficult but not bad. This car gets 27 mpg on the highway and around 18 in town if I keep my foot out of it. It will stop on a dime and give you 9 cents change. When you hit the warp pedal all I can say is man what a ride. I have no regrets owning this car. If you are thinking about getting one do it you won't be sorry.

Awesome Experience
This is my 6th Vette including 3 C6s in the last 2 years. My Vettes have always been my daily driver. I have owned Porches, Infinity, Lincoln, Cadillac and other find automobiles during my forty plus years of car ownership. This is the most exciting auto experience of all my dealings. The performance is unbelievable. The reliably of my last four Vettes has been perfect with absolutely not one warranty issue and zero for this one now in it's second month and 2200 miles. A perfect and most rewarding experience!
Amazing bang for the buck, especially used
Found my Lemans Blue 07 Z with 4400 miles on it in 09, certified dealer in Idaho. Searched long time for this rare color, bought it sight unseen had it shipped to SoCal. Never looked back, have 18k on it now, probably 3-4k of that is on the track, only place to actually use this car the way it was meant to be used. Great Car! Upgraded oil sump to that of 09 models, but besides that the car is basically stock, and runs great on the street and track. I have a great mechanic that keeps it maintained so that helps. But very reliable car. Would recommend in a minute, especially to anyone wanting to experiment with some HPDE track days. Just have the heads checked! (see below)
