Good Fun Car With Drawbacks

The car looks great, the accleration is fantastic, and it stops on a dime. There is actually a lot of room in the rear to carry stuff. The Bose radio sounds good, but it came out before the age of Sirius and bluetooth, and it is not a standard size radio, so replacing it can be done, but may take a bit more effort. A double din radio will not fit. On the downside, it is a noisy car even with the top on and windows shut, the seats are not comfortable for me at 6'3", and the center console will get noticeable hot after extended driving due to the exhaust pipes that pass underneath.

After owning 2 Porsche Carreras in a row, it was with great reluctance that i viewed the Z06 as an alternative. Yet, the press kept heralding its performance prowess, and new found reliability. Went to a dealer for a test drive, my mistake. How could it actually better a Carrera? Well, after 2 years, it simply does. It still hangs tight, no chassis noises, brakes better, accelerates and outcorners better, and i still can't believe the gas mileage. No, it doesn't enjoy same interior design and quality, what a shame, wouldn't mind paying an extra 2k for them. Yet, it's roomy and more comfortable than it seems. I don't think i'll be going back to Porsche.

This car is freedom. I bought it to use in parades as well as have the time of my life at 66. The car handles like a dream, the top is a no brainer and easy to get down. Lots of trunk room for a sports car. And does it get the comments!

I've owned this car since new. It is the second Corvette that I've owned. The car is extremely fun to drive, handling and acceleration of this car exceeds most driver's abilities. The ride is surprisingly good for such a high performing sports car.

The car is an absolute joy to drive. Abundant power, adequate creature comforts and stunning performance/handling. Unfortunately it burns oil. 1qt for every 1500 miles. If GM could only address this problem without the need to 'prove' that it is happening.
