Vroom Vroom, and away she goes!!
I personally love this car because it's a great buy for someone if they are looking to builg a stree machine. These cars are quick, easy to build & work on, and cheap the puchase (and relatively cheap to work on). These cars can run low 12's in the 1/4 mile with very little additions.
Bought it new
Was my dream car then and still is today. Famos quote "You can own fastest car in the world but you can always build and/or find a Chevy that can beat it."
VERY FUN!
This is by far the funest car I've had so far. It's got the big 350 5.7 Liter and it's pushing about 250hp. You can't ask for more. The gas mileage isn't that great, only about 250 on the highway and about 200 city but that's minor compared to the rest of the car. It's totally loaded, I would buy another one in a heartbeat!
Sweet ride
The stock car has great handling and power. The interioe is well planned and the T-tops add the feel of a convertible without compromising the structural integrity of the vehicle. Almost infinite possibilities to make aftermarket improvements to the engine and suspension. Absolute best car for the money. With the right after market add-ons this car can run against any foreign or domestic sport ride.
best car I've ever owned.
I bought my 1990 Rs for $700, it had 190,000 miles on it and ran super strong. It was a 5.0 tbi automatic. I abused that engine and trans for 2 years straight ( racing, burnouts, horrendous over- revving) and it took it like a champ. The engine started to knock at 240,000 and it was replaced with a mildly built 350, and a T5 trans. This car now screams. I would recommend these cars to anyone that is looking for a cheap, fast, well handling car.
