The best first car I could have imagined. Sure it may not be winning any car shows but it was for just that reason that it was such a great first car. I put on 50,000 cruel miles in about 3 years with no major mechanical errors. Kind of a small backseat but 5 high schoolers can fit in with only minor squeezing. Overall a great first car and uber comfortable.
- Very Comfortable - Reasonable Gas Mileage - Reliability
- Cup-holders (easy after marketfix but still...) - Small Back Seat - I'm pretty sure my lawnmower has more get up and go
Built tough, ran great, got some major work done on it, but if basic car maintenance is done than it will run great. No problems until it decided to be 19 years old and call it quits. Great car until then.
Comfort, reliability, casual look, overall great car
No info on the "information center" but the car isn't being made anymore
This was my first vehilce and it turned out to be really reliable, so if your looking to put your son/daughter in there first car go for a nice looking 1990 Buick Skylark. Also, throw in a nice cd player and some good fresh speakers and you've struck gold.
Gas saver, easy to keep up with.
Just tweak all the features a notch and hey you got a car for sell
Bought the car for 500 in 05, had 140k miles on it at the time. Great first car, had its problems here and there but nothing serious enough to ever leave me stranded, most reliable car ever owned, hit 175k on the odometer last month and seemed like it would have lasted the test of time if i hadnt been hit by someone, the tranny and engine worked splendid, the exterior had taken some damage over the long life she had but besides that the 3.3l V-6 ran fast and true and never gave me a bit of trouble, most expensive replace was probably belts and water pump, if you take car of this car it will last a life time,
Powerful V-6 and great pickup when she was younger, great A/C, reliable!
I hated using a key to get into my trunk! My 86 pontiac even had a trunk popper switch!! Maybe more leg room in the back, never sat in the back too often as it being my car but it would be nice to be able to sit back there if I needed to
The performance from my 2.3L Quad 4 is
eager and satisfying, though it could
use a lot more low-end torque. Comfort
and fuel economy is good, unless you
drive with a lead foot. Interior
design is good, but why the heck
couldn't they spare to put in some more
gauges(Oil temp,etc.)! Build quality
is good, and it is reliable as heck, if
you do proper maintenance. Get one of
The engine. The Quad 4 really kicks
for a stock engine. have raced against
ford ranger(easy win), Buick century
(almost one) and a few others and kept
up with them for awhile. Darn thing
lacks top end speed!
Well, since it's not made anymore,
there's not much to say. A flowmaster
and a K&N air filter, etc. would be
icing on the cake
