The bomb
I've had my Lacrosse for 2 years, purchased certified with 7000 miles, now has 30,000. Predecessors were 3 Audi A6 , Volvo S80 and Cadillac ats and 2 rare Passat W-6. All were cars I enjoyed. This Lacrosse is easily the best all round of the bunch. Importantly its reliability has been teriffic.
My favorite Buick
I have had many Buicks over the years and this is the very best one. It has the most safety features and the new engine has unbelievable power. The brakes are the very best of all the cars that I have owned. I was in my own business for many years and leased a new car every two years, so I have had a lot of experience with different cars. This is the best one! It is a shame that Buick doesn't make this model any longer.

Adjustable seat flaw in track design.....
Beware of flaw in seat adjustment design... the track is open so anything small can fall into it and it is impossible to get out without spending hundreds of dollars on mechanics fees and it not under any type of warranty. Cost almost $1000 to repair and what a head ache. Would almost consider not purchasing another vehicle with an open track adjusted seat design. Would appreciate GM looking into this issue!!!

Mistake
I don't like how it stops going through a drive-through every time you go also traffic light I don't like that at all I wish you could turn it off . Steering wheel very loose. I liked my 2011 performance better. I just wanted to upgrade but I've only had it a month so now I'm stuck. Not happy at ALL

Was this Car designed Frustrate Old People?
I am six foot six every time I set the seat to my size and every time I started the car it went to the position of my 5'3" mother in law. Then I could hit setting two and it would go back to my setting. I nearly broke my leg several times. My son who is a Rice engineering took an hour to figure out how to shut this feature off. The radio periodically looses her display preferences. I then spend an hour figuring out what button she accidentally pushed to change it. My Mother in law is 86 and insisted on an American car. So I had to buy this since I was not spending 50,000 on a Cadillac. The controls make this a nightmare for someone like her. I have an Lexus and an Accra with easy intuitive controls and no problems with the seat or radio setting, What is wrong with American cars, Are they complicated in order to mess with old people? GM why upset the only demographic buying this crap?

is the new Lacrosse just a Chevy Impala?
Went to see the and drive the new Lacrosse and was impressed with the cabin and the engine BUT, the sheet metal looks like a Impala with those ugly lines over the rear wheels/quarter panels and the front looks like a 2003 LeSabre; don't get why they would do this, should have been an eye popping wonderfully upscale looking car, What happened to that awesome looking concept?; I absolutely do not like the styling and will not buy a car that looks like it is 10 years old right when it comes out. Where's your creativity Buick?

Love my Buick
Great car & beautiful to look at inside & out. Powerful engine & good on gas. A true beauty & beast. 😊
68,000 miles later, it's still a great car!
It's five years old now and has 72,000 miles. Have never had any repair done for any reason at all. Has been completely trouble free since the day it rolled off the lot. Still has a luxurious smooth ride and extremely quiet on the road. Handles well and is a pleasure to drive. Still does 0-60 in under six seconds and runs fine on regular gas. I did replace the tires at just under 60,000 miles. Still has the original battery and has never failed to start or even crank over slowly. But at five years old, I'll probably replace it (the battery) anyway just to stay ahead of the game. Acceleration is very good. It's quicker than a Dodge Charger V6, and just a bit slower than a Dodge Charger R/T with a 5.7 Hemi, so no complaints with the Buicks 310 horsepower V6. If I would have anything to complain about it might be that I've read that the Buicks 310 horsepower engine is actually the exact same engine that puts out 335 horsepower in the Camaro. However, by mounting the engine sideways in the front wheel drive Buick, the sharp restrictive turns in the exhaust manifold and pipes to route out the exhaust results in losing 25 horsepower. I wish they could have figured out a way to route the exhaust without the loss of horsepower. I wouldn't mind having that extra 25 horsepower! Gas mileage is about 27 miles per gallon overall, according to the computer in the instrument panel, with 35 to 40 mpg on the road, depending on terrain. Not bad for a big comfortable car.

Only the Premium
I recently traded my beloved old Cadillac DTS for a 2017 Buick Lacrosse Essence, based largely on online reviews. I am impressed by the comfort, power and silence, but totally unimpressed by the almost complete lack of modern safety technology. How can a manufacturer sell a car with proximity sensors only at the rear? I realize that without exception the reviews were for top of the line trim only, but surely some safety trim could have been left in the lower trim models. I have a glass roof that I do not need, a display that reads sport or touring with the only difference being the display of a circular speedometer. My wife drives a 2007 Dodge Caliber which has just about as much safety technology. I think I've bought a quiet, comfortable video game on wheels.

Auto start/stop FLOP
I researched everything I could find on & about this car/model & new updates for 2017 BUT come on GM do away with this auto stop/start feature all together & so sad that we don't get the option or choice to turn it off. Ford lets you choose to completely shut off this totally & not just every time you get in & do a restart. As an ex-mechanic it really doesn't save on gas either but cause even more expensive issues like having to replace the starter & people forget that when using the A/C & engine shuts off so much for the A/C to stay cold Love the car, ride, engine GM come up with some aftermarket parts to get rid of this annoying auto start/stop feature & by-pass it totally
