2025 Audi RS 7 Sedan Trims Comparison

Trim level differences

The 2025 Audi RS 7 is a performance-tuned version of the automaker's A7 and S7. A midsize sedan with a hatchback-style trunk and a sporty roofline, the RS 7 comes in a single trim level fittingly called Performance. Every RS 7 has a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine (621 horsepower, 627 lb-ft), an eight-speed automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

RS 7 Performance
The standard equipment list includes:

  • 21-inch wheels with summer performance tires
  • Rear-wheel steering (improves vehicle maneuverability)
  • Sport-tuned adaptive air suspension (can adjust for ride quality, handling performance and ride height)
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Advanced LED headlights with laser light technology
  • Four-zone automatic climate control
  • Leather upholstery
  • 10-way power front sport seats with heating and ventilation
  • Heated, power-adjustable steering wheel

Standard tech features include:

  • 12.3-inch digital instrumentation display
  • Dual touchscreen displays (10.1-inch top and 8.6-inch lower) with navigation
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Wireless smartphone charger
  • Bang & Olufsen premium sound system

Audi also equips the RS 7 with the following safety features:

  • Forward collision warning with automatic braking (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
  • Lane departure warning (alerts you if the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane)
  • Lane keeping assistance (steers the RS 7 back into its lane if it begins to drift over the lane marker)
  • Parking sensors (alert you to obstacles that may not be visible in front of or behind the vehicle when parking)
  • Surround-view camera system (gives you a top-down view of the RS 7 and its surroundings in tight parking situations)

Audi offers several appearance packages for the RS 7. The Black Optic and Matte Carbon package both add 22-inch wheels, plus certain exterior design elements finished in black or matte carbon fiber. Three RS Design packages cover the interior in synthetic suede, with your choice of gray, red or blue accent work. In addition, you can choose the:

  • Driver Assistance package
    • Adaptive cruise control (maintains a driver-set distance between the RS 7 and the car in front)
    • Lane centering system (makes minor steering corrections to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane)
    • Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning (alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse)
    • Intersection collision mitigation (warns you of a possible collision at intersections and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
  • Executive package
    • Soft-close doors (catch as they're being closed and gently pull shut)
    • Added leather applied to selected parts of the interior
    • Heated rear seats
    • Head-up display (displays important information in your sight line on the windshield)
    • Automated parking system (steers into a parking spot with little or no driver intervention)
  • Individual Contour Seat package
    • Upgraded leather upholstery
    • Comfort front seats with additional power adjustment and massage
    • Memory for the front passenger seat position

Stand-alone options are also available for the RS 7. They include:

  • 22-inch wheels
  • Ceramic brakes
  • RS sport suspension
  • RS sport exhaust system
  • Synthetic suede headliner
  • 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen high-end audio system
  • Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning
  • Night vision camera (displays an infrared image of the area in front of the vehicle to assist while driving at night)

Which RS 7 trim does Edmunds recommend?

Since Audi only offers the RS 7 in one trim level, your choices are down to exterior and interior paint combos and a handful of cosmetic and feature-rich options packages. The styling's up to you, but we'd recommend the Driver Assistance package for its blind-spot warning system and adaptive cruise control, and the Executive package gives the already luxe interior an even more premium vibe. And if you feel like the standard sport seats are a little too aggressively bolstered for your liking, the Individual Contour Seat package swaps them out for more comfortable thrones.
