Drives Like a Car
750 miles into our Touring MDX and loving it. Can't wait to drive anywhere and anyone. It is comfy. The 3rd row seating is super and such a great alternative to the minivan. My kids love this crossover auto. Can't wait to take this up to the snow this winter.
2003 Acura MDX Touring
The only option that is missing to make this a PERFECT car is the telescopic steering wheel and XENON lights. Not sure why they skimped here???

My new Best friend
Buying the 2003 MDX with the Rear entertainment system was not a total suprise for me. What was a suprise is the pleasure I get from it. It has more of everything I want. More room, more power and a great ride.
Disappointed
I drove a 3.2Tl for 90k with never a glitch, but the MDX is a different story. It's been back to the shop 3 times for engine warning lights; a high-altitude problem my Colorado dealer says, and tells me Acura is working on it. The voice activated nav system doesn't recognize all the commands it's supposed to -- again,I'm told Acura is working on it. GM uses customers as test drivers, but I expected more from Acura.
What constructive criticism can I find?
The Acura MDX is second to none in this price range for a luxury SUV, Acura has always fitted its vehicles with standard options that would be a la carte on most luxury lines, example heated seats, sunroof, memory seats, 6 disc CD changer, rain sensing wipers, rear view camera etc...After extensive research and with the fold down third seat this was the vehicle for my family, it rides smooth, great acceleration and handling, outstanding exterior styling..
