Amazing technology, fun to drive, but at a price

Great car... replaced a BMW 335I... this car isn't a bimmer, but it's a very well built vehicle although there is a lot of plastic... fun to drive... but, you have to learn how to drive it...
I drive mostly in low around town (not in the traditional sense as car is one speed), it helps regenerate the battery more efficiently... getting between 38-45 miles on a charge this way... when driving on open road, hold feature is outstanding... saves all the electric... Averaging 36 MPG when on all gas ...
Overall MPG will depend on how you drive... the more you use it as an EV the higher the MPG...
Car is pricey but so is all new technology... happy to buy American... don't miss the Bimmer...
Hold feature, upgraded radio, touch screen, bluetooth controls, 12 AMP charging (takes about 10 hours), climate system
Lower cost Level 2 charging (4 hours)... it is an aftermarket option, improve front air dam (scraps driveway)...
I purchased a 2012 volt and love it. The ride is silky smooth and very quite. My wife says she loves the cockpit because she feels like she is setting in a big I-pad. Because it is electric the acceleration is constant which creates a wonderful experience. Currently we are getting about a 46 to 48 mile electric range. (driving carefully and temps averaging 95 degrees). The MPG I?m currently getting is 200MPG. Based on 12.9Kwh per complete charge at a cost in Spokane of 6.9 cents per Kwh,
averaging a 47 mile range per charge and gas currently being $3.85/Gal. Here is the math breakdown ? $3.85 / (12.9Kwh * 6.9cents) = 4.33 charges per cost of a gallon of gas. 4.33 * 47mile range = 203MPG!
