SHANGHAI, China — Two concept vehicles from Honda and Acura were teased on Monday ahead of a world debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.

The Acura concept previews a "global concept model," according to Honda.

Honda's concept model "shows the direction of an all-new model Honda will be introducing to the Chinese market in the future," the automaker said in a posting on its Web site.

The design sketches of the vehicles show crossovers with long hoods, a narrow greenhouse and a chiseled rear end. Honda did not provide names for the vehicles or disclose specifications.

The two will be unveiled on April 20.

Edmunds says: The Acura concept has greater interest for U.S. buyers since it appears destined for world markets, while the Honda concept is aimed at Chinese buyers.
