NEW YORK — Two 2014 Infiniti Q50s customized by designers Zac Posen and Thom Browne will be sold for $75,000 each on Gilt.com in December.

The 2014 Infiniti Q50 by Thom Browne features a chrome exterior and gleaming silver interior touches.

Zac Posen's 2014 Infiniti Q50 gets an unusual ombre-effect exterior paint treatment designed to evoke the back of a glamorous silk gown.

Browne may not be a household word, but he is one of the favorite fashion designers of First Lady Michelle Obama. Obama wore a blue checked coat and dress by Browne during the 2013 Inauguration Day festivities. She also wore a gray Thom Browne dress for the third presidential debate in 2012, according to Vogue.com.

Browne's take on the Q50 includes a sterling silver ring encircling the gear shifter and his signature red, white and blue ribbon snaking across the upholstery and edges of the door frames.

The car also comes with a matched set of luggage and a business card case.

Posen has dressed a long list of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Reese Witherspoon.

His Infiniti Q50, which the company says has a "more feminine flair," is turning out to be the more controversial of the two. The New York Times said the Posen Q50 "tended toward an almost baroque level of intricacy seldom seen since the denouement of the 1970s."

Details include a "red carpet" interior made from shagreen or stingray skin.

The two buyers of these Infiniti Q50s will receive a $10,000 Gilt.com shopping credit, as well as a style consultation.

A portion of the proceeds of the sale will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Edmunds says: You have to be willing to pay $37,395 above the base sticker price of the 2014 Infiniti Q50 to get your hands on these high-fashion versions of the car.
