  • The official VW website lists the price of the fender turbo beetle at $28.130, plus about $800 in destination charges. I contacted my local Texas dealership, and they told me there would be a "market adjustment" additional price of $2500. I think this is completely bogus. This isn't supposed to be E-Bay. If VW dealers are allowed to gouge for this car, it reflects very poorly on the brand. Buyer beware.
