Love my Tiguan
I lease this car and I love it it’s quick I have no problems with it and service is absolutely awesome over where I am. I did my homework while leasing a car and went to every car dealership in the ny metro area and knew this was the car.

Go for the Tiguan!
Stylish & comfortable. Tiguan was a perfect choose for me. Only con is a little slow pep when you first accelerate. Have adjusted to the weak at first acceleration from stop to go. Once you go it kicks in & ride is comfortable/smooth. Handles well on mountain roads, climbs right up the inclines w/ power.

Buyer beware!
Buyer beware! Don't buy a Tiguan (or any Volkswagen) or you'll regret it. They don't care about their customers or making a quality product, and that warranty they hype so much is worthless if they won't actually fix serious safety issues. The quick summary: I leased a brand new 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan in May of 2018. In less than 4 months, the vehicle has exhibited numerous problems from minor to major (including some safety problems which make the vehicle risky to drive), and the manufacturer and dealer refuse to help despite several attempts on my part to resolve these issues with them directly. A detailed description of the problems I have been facing, along with videos illustrating a couple of the issues, can be found at my website "bad tiguan . com" (remove the spaces) Don't make the same mistake I did. Buy anything other than a Volkswagen.

Don't Buy 2018 Keep Your 2016 Tiguan!
Bought a 2018 Tiguan SE August 2017. Today is my 3rd trip to the VW Union City, GA dealership for the same problems, plus more. I got know support! Asst. Svc Mgr. Kept saying, oh, that's normal. .....we didn't see any problems as if I was lying about 5 issues I never had with my 2016 Tiguan or any other car I ever owned. Cell phone Bluetooth malfunctioning; passenger side seat belt sensor comes on even with a tennis shoe on that seat and no human body; headlights are very dim and not projecting properly at night; rear of driver's seat automatI call folds forward closing in on me if I sit on the left edge of the seat with one foot outside the car and one inside; the windsheild washer fluid sensor gows off every 8 or so minutes even after I watched a different dealership add gallons to my car....where did it go??? No leaks on the ground! Asst. Svc Mgr'so response is, normal, normal, normal, we found nothing wrong, or my 2018 does the samething (passenger seat belt sensor problem). He was worthless! Was Sending me on my way until I insisted he contact the manufacturer, VW!!! They made their sale, and now don't want to do the work to stand behind their product!

I like the Tiquan
Leased the car in May, so far so good. Handles and drives better than the Murano that we had before. More comfortable interior. Pick up is a bit of an issue, but using the sport mode allows one to get onto the highway with no issues. u
