I saw the listing on Edmunds for a 2016 Honda Fit at Premier Auto, which was listed as an excellent deal at the price of $11999. When I spoke to someone at the dealership on the phone and told him I would be financing the car, he confirmed the price. However, as I was filling out the paperwork for the financing I noticed it was displaying the price as $12999. I was told the difference was due to financing the car. The extra $1000 was not interest on the loan, it was the purchase price. In addition, a $799 processing fee was added, as well as a $649 pre-delivery fee. After I was convinced to purchase a warranty for another $2200, I ended up spending much more than I originally intended. I probably should’ve walked away instead of signing off on it. To make matters worse, the temporary tag I was given blew off the car on the drive home. Overall not a good experience.

Allow me to file a disclaimer-I am a lawyer...I had searched for a particular small SUV called a GLK made by Mercedes to travel back and forth to S.C. on 95. I meet Niko and after a lot of back and forth went to the dealership and with a friend looked over and test drove the car. It was fine. I purchased the car but before doing so I asked about the extra key. Niko said he'd check with his manager Adam. I went in and signed the papers drove the car off the lot and remembered that Niko had not given me or said anything about the extra key. So I called from the road down the street and was told that they were checking with the previous manager. I continued my drive home (I live a good ways away) in my new car. I arrived home without incident but in looking at the car I notice for the first time a dent in the passenger side A pillar. So at this point I am beside myself and I call Niko and speak to Adam the next day. Both gentlemen...and I want to say they are gentlemen promised me that their owner wants to be old school and an honest dealership and that they would take care of everything to make sure I was happy. Now as a lawyer...well I was not so sure but they gave me their word. They kept their word...something I did not expect from a modern day car dealership. They were honest and followed through. Dent was fixed....car key paid for so I could get an extra key! Amazing. That's why I am giving Niko and Adam 5 stars! Was I happy that the car had an unnoticed dent and lacked a key. No not at all but did they follow through even though papers were signed to make sure that the car was top notch shape and I had the extra key? Absolutely. Old style your word is your bond business ethics" I highly recommend the dealership because that form of honest dealing has to come from the top down.

I have nothing to say regarding the quality of this dealer's merchandise. However, I DO have some comments regarding their utter lack of professionalism in every single dealing. First I called this dealer to inquire about a vehicle offered for sale; I spoke to one person, who transferred me to another, who transferred me nominally back to the first person...who did not pick up. Ok. Sometimes these things happen when times are busy. The next day I went to the dealership to look at the vehicle and a couple others I saw advertised. The lot is disorganized, with no labeled sections (new/used/et c.). I drove around until I found two of the vehicles I was looking for. Keep in mind, these vehicles are listed for sale on this dealer's public website--I verified VIN and stock number prior to writing this review. One vehicle was previously owned by a smoker--that's fine. What was NOT fine--were the bags and piles of trash and dirt inside the vehicle. Alright. Fine. Moving on to the next vehicle, parked beside the first one. Cleaner--maybe it had even been washed. However, after looking at it for a minute, someone remote locked it. No license plate was mounted front or back; no indications were placed of ownership or pending sale. No one approached, sales, service, detailer--no one. At this point I'm a bit irate because after being on the lot for over 15 minutes, no salesman has approached me. I decide, not having found the last vehicle which I was (most) interested in, that I will enter the sales floor and ask. I walked in to see an empty receptionist's desk with a couple people working in the periphery--within 30 feet or so. I waited a short time for someone to notice that I had approached, potentially to do business--and no one appeared, or even started moving in my direction. My conclusion: Parks Chevrolet is not interested in selling cars, based on dirty advertised (!) cars, utter lack of organization on the lot, and failure to present customer service. I will be voting with my dollars.
