We have owned 7 Toyotas, and 4 of them were Tundras. We now have a 2013 and a 2022. The 2022 seats feel like we are sitting on springs. It is a noisy ride. We hear the wind like a window is partially down. Not comfortable at all. We travel a lot but prefers driving the 2013.

The new tundra took some getting used to. Coming from a 2020 tundra, the 2022 is a GIGANTIC leap forward. The pinnacle of luxury, in a truck. Really There is something to beware of! The side trim pieces are not designed well, and lots of people have problems with them. Toyota will fix them of course, but it should never happen with a $75k truck. Toyota needs to fix that asap. Some people are having wastegate issues with the turbos, probably an issue with one of the suppliers. I haven’t had that issue but it seems fairly common. Overall I’m extremely happy with the truck. It’s comfortable and powerful. Toyota has designed a truck that can now compete feature-wise with other trucks (Ram, F-150, Silverado), and they hit the ground running.

Coming from a 2020 Trd Pro I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the v6 Twin Turbo. After seeing the truck in person & driving it, I completely forgot about my 2020! The new tech, comfort features, pano roof, smooth power and transmission sold me!

I have had my Tundra for 6months I love how it drives and the big screen. My biggest issue is the built quality. The body is very fragile. I gently reversed into hip of snow twice and car got broken the 2 times. 1st time a piece of the right rear bumper broke and fell off. 2nd time the low impact was on the bed step, to my surprise hip of snow broke the bed step, it broke and fell out from under the truck and can't be fixed again. Common hip of snow shouldn't brake what is expected to carry your weight. I used to have 2013 4runner which was a tank compare to this new Tundra. Fancy but body is not reliable

Selling the truck after about 25,000 miles, recalls keep coming, the latest one is for metal chips in the engine, our dealer says Toyota is still figuring it out, so the issue remains on hold. Turbos stopped working a few months ago, but now they need to be replaced, and that takes about 2 weeks, had a gas line recall and many others, when will it end? Head rests force you head down so far, it gives you neck pain. Toyota did not include a Navigation system, so any issue with your phone and you better have a paper map in your car! I think they rushed this to the market, we are selling it once the turbos get fixed. Four will drive system only works when the wheels can slip, so in most cases you have a rear-wheel-drive truck. Selling to buy a GMC>
