Used 2018 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Consumer Reviews
Ok truck but I prefer something different
Pros: Reliable truck never had issues with it. Strong truck can tow up to 7,000 LBS Cons: Horrible gas mileage average around 15 MPG in the city. Turning radius is terrible can barely make a U Turn. Steering is very hard to use. And cab is very uncomfortable.

Mediocre Tacoma
Compared to my previous 2012 Tacoma, the 2018 is mediocre. The biggest disappointment with the 2018 Tacoma was the switch from the 4.0L to 3.5L engine, which removed the muscle feel of the Tacoma. In my opinion, a big mistake for Toyota. With almost indiscernible improvement in fuel economy, the 3.5L is a lackluster engine, producing marginal power. People buy a pickup truck for the muscle, and Toyota successfully neutered this truck. What a shame! With over 120K miles on my 2018 Tacoma, I have had no major problems, a testament to Toyota's legendary quality. Overall, the 2012 Tacoma just fit better than the 2018. I miss that truck.

Great truck
I have owned my 2018 TRD off road premium/tech for 11k miles and have enjoyed driving it. I had the dealer physically (not via computer) check the transmission level and it was a quart low. UPDATE now 28000 miles, runs great, just wish the cab was a bit taller, it would be easier to get in and out of the truck.
