I bought my Toyota 4 years ago with 62,000 KM on it. Since then it now sits at 169000 kms of hard, real world driving. I say hard as I'm not easy on things and we have a 17foot single axis trailer we use a lot. The only mods done to the van I did put airbags in the rear to keep the trailer from sitting to low (trailer is 3500 lbs). This vehicle is a tank!!! It's amazingly reliable (in 100000 kms I've done oil changes, and 1 set of breaks that's it!!! It's starts no problem at -35, it safely and comfortably hauls my family all over the place. I use it like a truck. I wish it got better fuel economy (it's not good) but the reliability more then offsets the higher fuel burn. The middle row captain "lazyboys" are incredibly comfortable. If you're looking for a used reliable family hauler - find one of these. Especially if you're towing, I owned a Honda before this one and its brakes couldn't handle towing even a lighter pop up trailer - they'd warp every summer. Also if you want to create a fun family hauler get ine with with AWD and put a 3.5 inch lift on it - yes this is a thing. Turns the mom soccer van into a capable overlander.
