Used 1994 Toyota Pickup Consumer Reviews
The 94 unbreakable beast.
This 3.0 V6 engine is unbreakable. My sister bought this 4X4. Vehicle at the end of 93. She drove it 150,00 miles and gave it to me in 2016. I did some repairs like front suspension, the leaf spring shackles and shocks. Threw some new 31-inch tires on there and power steering pump. With that 456 rear differential, this thing is a beast in the mud snow and any other kind of terrain. Long live Toyotas.

It Keeps Running and Running and Running
My uncle bought this truck brand new with 40 miles on it. Then gave it to me after a few months and I've driven it since then. Now it has about 166K miles and still running great. Hasn't failed a single smog check nor left me stranded on the road. A very dependable and reliable truck.
Gem of a Truck
I researched for months before making my purchase and Toyota came out ahead. Only two manufacturers offered forward facing rear seats with three point shoulder belts. I never understood how manufacturers could advertise the importance of the feature in cars, then ignore them in trucks. The second issue was reliability. Only Nissan had a reputation that approached Toyota. The pick up is unbelievably dependable. In seven years I have had one repair, and it was covered under warranty. The third issue for me was fuel economy. It has consistently exceeded the manufacturers estimated fuel economy. I can't say enough about the 22R engine. Great economy and decent power at the same time.
3 Engines, 118,000 miles
I bought this truck after it had a new engine put in it at 112,000. I assumed that it would would be reliable, Wrong! I had to get a brand new $4,000 engine! After spending $4250 on the truck in the first place. This truck is very slow, you have to push the engine every time you accelerate from a stop light just to keep up with traffic!
