I have owned this SUV for 9 months and already have over 16,000 miles on it, mostly highway. Mileage is good for this size vehicle and about as advertised (19/23). Build fit and finish is very good, and no major quality issues (so far). The vehicle does very well with long-distance highway cruising (minimal vibrations, very quiet, comfortable seats), and handles well around the city. No issues with hauling a boat -- plenty of power at the ramp and stable towing. Good cargo capacity with rear seats down.

We're driving Toyotas since 1996, this is our 4th Toyota and probably last one. The warranty on this car is 5 year/60,000 miles. The car was maintained as required by the car's manual, it was maintained by Pep Boys twice. We own the car for 5 years and 2 months, it has 61,000 miles on, mostly highway miles between Illinois and New Jersey; the car is like new, it was garaged when we lived in Illinois for 4 years. The engine on car failed, it was confirmed by dealer that new engine is required. Toyotas reputation was good, so we never thought or bothered to look into any extended warranty, this is the main reason why we drive them for over 20 years. Since we are loyal Toyota customers, and warranty just expired, we turned to Toyota corporate to see if the repair can be covered by warranty; but they giving us a cold shoulder, making excuses, impersonating other people in corporate, it's not pretty. This car also had a serious issue with a back seat belt, when my wife had to call 911 while in shopping mall, when my daughter got strangled and could not release it, it was just getting tighter and tighter: 911 had to cut the seat belt with a knife.

The most American built automobile in our country as this vehicle build quality is outstanding and the engineering involved in the driveline will provide years of trouble free use. I do like the interior layout especially the climate controls located on the steering wheel allowing me to focus on the road instead of fumbling with the heater controls on the dash.
