Couldn't Ask for a Better Car!
I just can't say enough about this little gem. What I "sacrifice" in luxury and styling (and not a big sacrifice, it's a conveyance, not a living room!) I make up in performance and fuel economy. I have had this car for 4 years and have, admittedly, been pretty rough with it. I haven't yet had it in the shop except for yearly inspections. Recently, on a long, flat, straight trip, I traveled 500 miles on a tank of gas. I estimate the tank to be about 11 gallons so you do the math! 5 people can fit comfortably and the trunk space is phenomenal. It's easy to park and easy to drive. If you want a reliable car and feel responsible for environmental impact, this is the way to go
2001 Echo
Awesome little car. Easy to drive. Great gas mileage. It is the best small car built when you consider price, performance, comfort, QUALITY, and RELIABILITY!
Best Car I Ever Owned
This car impresses. ECHO owners know that this car is a gem. This car brings a smile to my face! I previously owned a Tercel and a Honda Civic. The Tercel was a great car. The Civic my worst nightmare, lots of electrical problems. My ECHO is not only problem free but very fuel efficient at 32 miles per gallon. Best car on the road today.
We Love Our Echo
We have had nothing but good luck with our Echo. We get an average of 38 miles to the gallon and we have kept track of it since we bought the car. It is great! It fits my 6'5" father in the back seat no problem and let me tell you there are few cars that can do that. You feel like you are attached to the road which is something my husband and I really like. It has great turning radius! It is just plain cute! We live in a very snowy state and it hasn't had any more trouble than other cars. We feel like we are doing our part to reduce gas use. I wish more people would do that because we do have a hard time finding our car in the parking lot with all the huge cars surrounding it.
echo
We have used for trips and around town. Gets 43 MPG at 75 mph. Wish they still made them. (Stick shift)
