This will probably be our last car. My husband is 85. The both of us love this car. I am always the first one out from a traffic light. The car handles beautifully. I drive mostly on city streets but occasionally I do drive on the Southern California freeways. Over 55 years we have had quite a few cars including a Cadillac and three Mercedes. This car beats them all. The only problem is getting into the car. My husband is 5'11" and I am 5'4", and we both have trouble getting in. But I just say, "Hey, it's a sports car. What do you expect? Someone complained about the colors. It only comes in white, blue and black cherry pearl. We got the black cherry. You never miss it in a parking lot. And since Toyota made only 8,100 of them you probably won't see it very often. We bought the car through Costco. The 78 year old woman is now 79 and still loving the car. The 85 year old husband is now 86 and enjoying driving the car just as much. So far I haven't seen another one on the road.

I cant give 5 stars though, The cruise control is garbage. I still love this car though, main reason i bought it was the sporttronic transmission, so cruise control is pointless. It is not very powerful, but it will get you there. pre collision system is dangerous if not turned down to lowest level. lane departure alert is pointless and has been turned off ever since i figured out how. Sway warning... no, just no, i do not need a break... i am the boss, not you car. the inside is reasonably comfortable and road noise is not any worse than similar sized cars. Gas mileage is so so. I average about 31mpg which i believe is close to the estimates on the sticker. i previously owned a 2012 corolla le, and knew I wanted a higher trim. Which may be the difference in the other problems some drivers have had. 80,000 miles on it. oil changes, tires, some brake fluid and a battery is the complete list of maintenance to this point. It is by no means a perfect car, but it is the best car I have ever owned due to the lack of maintenance needed.
