I have owned one of these too, but the one that stands out the most to me is my friend's. His has 320K miles and is still running like a champ. How is that even possible? These are incredible vehicles. Do not hesitate to buy one with 100k miles that's nothing. The engines and transmissions are bulletproof. You can drive these forever. Excellent value. Maintenance issues I encountered- Starter went out at 150K miles. Was an easy cheap fix. Did it on my own in the driveway. -Rubber head gasket needed to be replaced at 130k miles. Again, no big deal, place did it while changing my oil and only charged like $50 to do it. Awesome thing about maintenance on these is anyone can work on these. Very simple and cheap parts when you need them. Only downsides- no ABS or traction control. Kind of dangerous in the rain and gets blown around on the highway due to being so light.

Great car! Good acceleration and acceptable stereo. Only undesirable interior design factor I have found is driver side right arm rest. There's not much too it and it's kind of awkward to have you arm rest on it. Out of 10, overall, I give the Toyota Corolla CE a 9.5!

When purchasing this car, I had no other choices. I'm a 19 year old with limited credit, and no cosigners. I hardly even know how to drive a standard. Once I stepped into this 5 speed Corolla, I'm not going to lie, it's kept me pleased ever since I've had it. Gas mileage is EXCELLENT, and I've wanted to master the standard way of driving. Car is great to drive, performance wise, its not STI, but still has good acceleration and power for only 128 horse I think. Car does get a bit unstable in the 75mph mark or on a windy day. Feels too light for its own good. However, car is perfect for someone that just needs to get from point A to point B and have a good time doing so.

Not what I expected

This car is way overrated. The ride is noisy and the alignment do not last. The design of the front windshield design blocks the view when turning. Blind spots are bigger. Just recently had to replace the ECU (computer). The tensioner pulley is making noise. Will be replaced next time it goes in for service. Foot place on left broke off. I will replace it soon before warranty expires. One of the worst vehicles I bought.
