3-week impression

impressions are all positive. Good quality materials for the interior. Manual shifter takes some breaking in as well: at first, downshifting from 5th to 4th was a bit awkward, but not anymore. Nice handling and great fuel mileage. Overall, a very decent car that is great for everyday use as a car for people who drive a lot or those who would like to buy a car and forget the hassle of owning a gas guzzler. There isn't enough said about how a fuel- efficient car improves one's outlook on gasoline prices. You simply stop to notice them. My car so far is getting 32 mpg in the city. 40 is the norm on the highway.

GO COROLLA

I traded in my 2003 Honda Element for the new 2004 Toyota Corolla S Type. The Element was not fuel efficient at all and didnt handle weather conditions well. Also, there were many blind spots in the vehicle especially when you stow the back seats. The moon roof and back windows were too far back to reach. Everything but the front windows and side mirrors was manual. Corolla had it all including daytimer light switch, passenger seat belt alert, moon roof upfront, awesome stereo system, and the look and feel of a luxury car.

The Toyota Corolla is a masterpiece. I love it, my friends n' family love it. Even my students love it. They say it looks like a Lexus, other say it looks like a racing car. I think I made a wise choice buying this car. I even love the color ( grey ) Even though looks like silver...hehehehe

Best Economy Value

Outstanding car that delivers more than what you pay for. Toyota delivers outstanding fit and finish throughout their entire product line - even the economy end. Have had two plus four hour trip and felt very comfortable - offers excellent back support. Very impressed with the smooth transmission. I have the LE with leather package. Wish they offered heated seats but understand the have to create some differentation to sell the more profitable Camry. If you need a great vehicle that delivers comfort, reliability, and quality the Corolla can't be beat.

Comming from a Honda Accord this is quite a rewarding experience. The Corolla sits higher than the Honda for better visibality and has a very positive steering feel to it. My wife loves it because she is a short person. It is quiet riding for such a small car and is fun to drive. Comfort and amenities for this price range are excellent. The reliability of this car speaks for itself. I thought I was stepping down to a lower price range, but was pleasently supprised.
