Wow

I just got 2021 Toyota Camry for 7 day rental and wow, what a major disappointment it was. It was a dislike from first try, drives terrible, loud inside, engine barely able to keep up, and technology that comes inside is from a decade ago. Now I know that I would never ever ever buy Toyota ever!!!

Get the accord

Pros: looks gorgeous, reliable, incredible engine, comfortable, and quiet. Cons: adaptive cruise control disconnects around 20mph (except 2 trims), dash is a decade behind, and apple CarPlay would not work without Toyota app. While Camry is a wonderful car, Accord has much more to offer. Full adaptive cruise control, push button start, rear camera trajectory/birds eye view. bigger wheels, better handling, better low end torque (turbos), bigger infotainment screen, and a beautiful dash.

Squeaky Chassis/Suspension

I can only comment on a 2021 rental Camry that I had recently, but wanted to write a review for it, even though I didn't own it. Overall, I really did like the car's styling and drive, but for a car that had only 19k miles on it (although rental miles), it squeaked all the time, nonstop. I have no idea what happened to it and there was no visible wear to the car, yet it sounded like an old Model T Ford out on the dirt roads of an Oklahoma prairie.

Don’t believe the good reviews

Had this car for a couple weeks as a rental. Could not be more dissatisfied. Toyota is not what they used to be. Completely unintuitive, tiny cabin, gas mileage is disappointing, and all of its on board safety features and enhancements are not only frustrating and useless, they’re also extremely dangerous. 0 out of 5 stars, wouldn’t recommend this car to anybody, and will likely steer clear of Toyota altogether. In utter shock they would even make this car.
