Used 2018 Toyota Camry Sedan Consumer Reviews
Transmission better
Bought April 1918 the Rudy flare 4 cyl ie model with the convenience . After few days the transmission was not very smooth. The gears were dancing around and down shifts were long. Went to dealer had 5k tire rotation and I notice they put 36 psi and also talk to tech about the tranny and was told I need to get used to the tranny and very gear was like a sensor and I needed to know how to adjust. Well I notice a big difference in the car and I believe that extra air in the tires really helped and started to listen to the car and started by not apply a hard pedal and going with the flow of the gears. I was going to dump this car in the beginning now it is fun to drive.

Love the New Design
I went to 6 Toyota Dealerships and finally found a Dealership who had the 2018 Camry LE that I wanted. I priced the 2018 Honda Accords and the features were not as sporty as the newly designed 2018 Camry. The Camry has, like a Honda Accord, a great reliability track record and are similar in many ways. I'm a creature of habit, owning 5 Camry's in the past, and decided to buy another Camry. I know I'll be in that car for many years to come and excited about the many safety features the new Camry has included in the price. My car insurance rates were a little lower because of the safety features. If the car drifts into another lane, the car monitor will beep and the the car gets back into its lane automatically. If I get too close to the car in front of me, the monitor will flash BRAKE and the car will automatically stop to avoid a collision. The ride is smoother than my trade in 2016 Camry LE. You can't go wrong buying a Camry....one of the most reliable cars on the road.

Camry's infotainment leaves much to be desired
Don't buy this car if you enjoy satellite radio. It is difficult and distracting from driving to use the radio, Entune system. Honda has a much simpler and user friendly interface. MPG is not what they say either. Addendum-if you listen to satellite radio, or use GPS, get the infotainment system that has Satellite radio capability, and GPS built in. Entune/Scout is an inferior product compared to Apple Car Play, and takes much effort to start, or switch stations. The quality of sound with the added satellite radio added is perfectly fine however, it just is distracting from driving using it. The car itself is comfortable and rides nicely. 2019 has Apple Car Play built in, and those purchasers will be much happier.

Awesome buy, Entune bad, but added CarPlay!
My car is the hybrid version. In the first 3,000 mi I have averaged 41.1 mpg, and that includes some pretty quick take-offs at times. Now that I am up to around 10,500 miles, the gas mileage I am seeing is around 39 mpg. It accelerates fairly well, not as fast as the V6, but with much better mpg. The car is comfortable and an exceptionally nice ride, wonderful inside and out. I have not driven or been a passenger in a car that rides better / more comfortable. Adaptive cruise, lane departure, 360 degree view are all exceptional. The only negative I can think of is the Entune system, Toyota has given in to market demands (forums/reviews) and added CarPlay. I am now a huge fan, other than they turned the system's home screen white (white background) which can be annoying. It is exceptionally painful to set up all of the accounts and linkages, and then have to use Scout GPS which I cannot say is bad, other than from what I found you have to enter mostly addresses rather than business names / types (e.g. gas stations). NOTE: The previous item is no longer the case, you can use CarPlay with Apple or Google maps, and no longer have to mess with Scout. You also have to have your phone plugged in to use it for CarPlay, defeating the purpose of the built-in wireless charging (this might be an Apple requirement, and not their issue). I am exceptionally happy that Toyota gave in on adding CarPlay, it turns my only negative on the car to a positive. I would most definitely buy this car again, and recommend it to my friends. I have also received more comments on this car with its beautiful black appearance that turns a sparkly blue-green in the sun than I did on my 2016 Subaru WRX STI, which is saying a lot.

Wish I had waited for 2019 AppleCarplay
The radio controls were removed from the steering wheel to account for adaptive cruise control. Silly design. I use the radio constantly. I rarely use cruise. The USB ports are unreliable. The worst part about any Toyota is Entune and I really wish it wasn't forced on us. If Toyota doesn't want to provide a functional app suite, then why bother. We need a class action suit to get Toyota to give buyers the option to reject a nonworking system. Sad Toyota hasn't updated 2018 cars that have entune 3.0 premium and plus. I feel ripped off about the so-called entertainment system that doesn't function.
