Don't buy this car! With only 3,000 on it it shut down and wouldn't accelerate over 25. Dealer said it was misfiring but couldn't fix it. Then while waiting in line to pick up my daughter it just turned off on me. Needless to say I don't have this vehicle anymore. Paid way too much for unreliable camry.

The navigation system in the car doesn't work if you own an i phone. I have contacted the dealer and Toyota many times since I bought the car in November 2017. it's simply frozen and Toyota hasn't figured out how to fix it yet. No one is willing to help with this issue. I have owned three Camry's before this one and have been very happy with them in the past.

Ruined Camry's for me

There is a wind noise issue that is know about with this car. A wind/whistling sound coming from the driver side mirror. Some cars have it, others not. But good luck getting it taken care of. Was told "can't hear it" by 3 different dealerships. The new engine is louder than past Camry's. The car slams into gear after starting if you shift into reverse too fast. Never had that issue on any car I have owned in my life. Softex seat creaks against center console, only remedy was stuffing a wad of whatever between it. Bluetooth phone connect always briefly disconnected. Cannot turn radio down at all after starting it, need to wait 10 seconds or so to be able to. Really, really embarrassing depending whats on. . . . It is an attractive car, and fun to drive. I traded mine in less than a year after purchase for a RAV4. Glad I did.

Dysfunctional Panaromic Roof one week after purcha

I was super excited when I bought this car for my wife, but the excitement lasted only for 7 days. The panoramic moon roof stopped working and stayed open on a freezing night of 5F. It was super frustrating as I could hardly get hold of any Toyota dealer or Toyota Motor Corp itself. Update: Toyota tried replacing the roof and did various repairs but in vain. After 4 attempts, they had taken the car back under lemon law and paid me back the EMIs I had paid far.

Bogus sticker mileage

Engine throttle response poor dead pedal first 1/4 depression UNSAFE ! Had rental while remote start was being installed same engine but next model up from se, throttle response was much better. Talked to service and he said next model has a better response. But was not willing to give reason why. Being a mechanic for 35 yrs. I believe upper models are programed to run better. Like the car but not happy with this problem or gas mileage. Suppose to get 39 mpg highway best I've seen is 27.4 not to happy about this sales pitch considering I was looking for good mileage.
