It Has Surpassed My High Expectations

I had a high expectation of quality and performance for this high end Toyota automobile. The car has been a true pleasure to drive and has greatly increased my feeling that I made the right decision. For me it has been a perfect combination of a sporty car, plenty of power, mid-sized room, luxury feel, nice features, quality/reliability, and the fun of a convertible. I have been driving it for about one month now including one long road trip. The only negative that I have found is that the top makes a flutter sound on the interstate when I get behind large trucks. I am sure that it is a wind force thing. It was noticeable without the radio on, but not a real problem. I love the car.

I have owned my Solara convertible for 1 year. It is a beautiful convertible with all the Toyota quality and reliability. Excellent on the highway at 70+ mph, very quiet. People stop to tell me what a pretty car it is. Large trunk, spacious rear seat. It is an unexciting car to drive. The rear window visibility is below average.

I bought a 2001 se v6 solara which are very rare. Many aftermarket upgrades have been done. It has a TRD short throw shifter, TRD exhuast which adds about 5-10hp, TRD 7 piece body kit, 18 inch TSW wheels, TRD springs and struts which lower the car 2 inches, and i've also put in a K&N filter(+5hp) which also boosted the Horsepower. The car rides like a dream and handles great as well. The 5 speed transmission is a blast to drive and the car wants to get up and go. The car is very comfortable and incredibly roomy for a 2 door coupe. I do not have any complaints about the car and the car has been getting an avg. of 28 mpg combo of city/highway driving!! I highly recommend this car to all!!

I just bought this car, and I'm totally happy with it. Comfortable, very nice interior. I just have one thing is the commuter, it's not like what I expected from a Toyota, I expected more miles/gal. Other than that... it's awesome.

there has been consistent vibration and squeeking which has become much worse during the year in the body of the auto ... nothing to do with usual noises of a convertible roof... at pr esent having no cooperation with Toyota which is surprising as we have had their vehicles previously with no problem.. naturally we are very disappointed with this vehicle.
