Excellent car with good power and mileage

Quiet, comfortable interior, excellent acceleration with plenty of smooth available power when needed. Averaged 64mpg in local driving in the summer with 800 miles per tank, averaged 75mpg on long, mostly rural non-interstate trips and 53 mpg at 70 mph on long interstate trips in the summer. Averaged 53mpg in local driving, 65 mpg on long non-interstate trips, and 48mpg on interstate trips in the winter. Some people have complained about the loud noise, sounding like a loose belt, that the car makes when backing up or driving at low speed. It is made by a 4ohm speaker behind the radiator that can be easily replaced by a 4 ohm, 25 watt resistor to quiet things down. Don’t know why they put the noise maker in there since the electric motors make an easily noticed noise when the car is in motion. Otherwise, all in all, a nearly perfect car.

Handles and accelerates better than expected. LKA works well, but LCA needs tweaking. Technology overall is excellent. Seats are very supportive. Solid feel at all speeds. Minimal road noise with or without windows open. I’m hooked on the hybrid version.

Have 2 Prius ..there great, but the new Camry totally amazing ..with year end discounts, got it for $24,017 so why buy used ? Nice road car and twice the mileage of most any car .The LE has 16" steel wheels ,the best for most roads around here .This had the winter package as well ,mud flaps, rubber mud catch floor mats ,anti scuff sill by the trunk lid .The XM Sound system is more than enough .. Had sun roofs in the past and never used em,this one dosen't have that ..ah less to break and leak. Didn't like the $400 dock fee but other than ,no other fees... just tax ..Amazing car for the price !

We wanted to try a hybrid but it would take 5yrs to finally see savings and I was only gaining 5miles extra in gas mileage. Plus it took a while to catch speed to get on the freeway. I didn't feel safe.
