Don't kick the bumper - it will break !

Rides nice, smooth CVT, mileage is good. Many structural problems. INside dash squeaks, entire front bumper is cheap plastic (I replaced the whole bumper once: dealer said warranty doesn't cover 'design flaw'.) The genuine Toyota replacement bumper is all falling apart again. It only takes the slightest accidental bump to crack it and then the entire bumper deteriorates. Really bad design flaw! Would never buy a Toyota again! Bluetooth hands free car phone is inferior! Tires were meticulously maintained (every 5K miles) and they only lasted 20K miles. Toyota quality?? Where?

I bought this camry to replace my gas drainer (Chevy Tahoe). The difference in gas usage is great, you can tell a big difference in the savings. HWY mpg is about 36 and City mpg is about 38. I believe that I'm ready to go anywhere.

Love my Hybrid

Has as much or more power than any prev. vehicle I've owned. Very quick take offs when needed! Really performs well. Hugs the curves. Has a smooth ride, almost like gliding, especially in electric mode. First couple tanks of gas, we got just over 36 MPG, but that has consistently gotten better. The stereo is out of this world!! I think it comes standard. This car has been mistaken for higher end cars, one thought it was a Lexus, another thought it was a Mercedes. People always overestimate the price of the car. Overall, I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

After about 2000 miles of mixed highway city driving I am averaging almost 37 miles per gallon. The car feels solid and not like I have sacrificed amenities for economy.

I love my Camry Hybrid, however, I only get around 23 mpg in stop and go situations in the summer. I get about 27 mpg in city driving in the winter. I figure some of it is due to A/C use as I live in the desert, but it seems like everyone gets mpg in the 30s in city driving. I get 39-40 on the highway. I don't have a heavy foot either. I'm 72 years old.
