I just picked up my fully loaded 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid 2 days ago (the first one off the dealer's lot). I still can't get the smile off my face. The TCH is awesome. I never seriously considered the Toyota Prius - too small for my family. I test drove a Ford Escape Hybrid and overall was disappointed with it. The TCH is the perfect vehicle for us. There is plenty of room for our family of 4, it got all the gadgets and performance for me (Dad), it saves the planet for Mom, and the kids think it's really cool too!

I have had my camry hybrid for better then one month. Previously owned a Prius. The camry is a fun car to drive for 2 reasons and perhaps others. #1 it is a comfortable car and #2. the mpg can easily top 40 mpg. I have learned that coasting is real helpful to achieve that mpg number and being careful with the accelerator pedal as well. My goal is to see if I can get better than 40 mpg and will do it.

50th Anniversary Edition Camry Hybrid

If having second thoughts about buying, go buy it now! Won't regret it. Love the acceleration, has as much kick as my previous Mercedes C-320. Currently doing about 35 mpg in the city, have done as much as 38; on the highway you can get 38+ if cruising, all depends how you drive. I have a heavy foot. Word of advice, had to get the 50th Anniversary Edition to get the elegant interior I wanted. Regular model looks cheap inside, too much plastic trim, shame on you Toyota! Navigation system, bluetooth, audio, voice recognition, smart key, etc., are fabulous. I love my car! If considering a Lexus ES as I was, this Camry edition has it all + gas savings.

After 7000 miles I still enjoy this car. The ride, quietness, visibility and accelleration are excellent. No problems of any type as yet. The keyless features are nice. The car heats up in cold weather in less than one half block. The instrumentation is excellent. It helps you to get better mileage.

I bought my 2007 Camry hybrid used a little over a year ago. Hands down the best car I've ever had. Its quiet, smooth and has all the power you'll ever need. With the CVT transmission there's no shifting. Most people think hybird = no power. I'm 51 years old and this car has as much power as any that I've ever owned. I bought my Camry with 59,000 miles on it. It now has 78,000 miles on it. I've only had 1 problem. It didn't start at 20 below zero. I can't wait to see how long my brakes last. I was told 200,000 to 300,000 miles they look great so far. Oh I almost forgot I get between 38 to 41 mpg March though November and about 35 to 38 mpg in the winter.
