Little over 5000 miles, you can not beat the quietness and the ride. This is our 4th Toyota car, you can see the quality control inside/out, I don't get tired driving this vehicle

The Avalon!

The Avalon has been a super car that now has 144,000 miles on it and the only repairs required were a new set of brakes other than oil changes. Everything still works and it runs as good as the day it was purchased.

When I test drove my 2011 Base with 92K, I thought, Wow! "This is one hell of a ride. Why was it traded in?" Two weeks later and after only about 350 miles, I still say Wow! I drove my brother's '20 Mercedes SUV which he got for $50K. Mine was $13K I like mine better. Very powerful. Roomier. Great ride. Heavy. Ease of handling. Comfortable. Great sound system. Not overloaded with tech. Quiet. Smooth as hell; feels luxurious. I'm sorry I never considered an Avalon until now. This one is a replacement for my 2014 Sienna, which I regarded as the best all around car I've owned. I bought it with 35K as a lease return. I'm 80. I drove it across the US 6 times and it was amazing in every way. Had to trade in on a Tacoma to tow a trailer across the US during COVID. Now, Sienna's are scarce and very, very expensive. People have caught on. I am so impressed with the Avalon. I hope it does as well as my Sienna. It was never in for repair of anything, I put about 35K on it and it never let me down and it cost me 0, except rear shocks. no brakes. No engine repair. Nothing. Coming up on a year with my 2011 Avalon. I still like it very much. I'd like it to be a little easier to get into, more like my 2014 Sienna. I'd like it if the roof were up another inch or so higher. I'm a senior and I don't like having to twist my arthritic neck to keep from bumping my head. I'm 5'10" with shorter legs. If you want to haul stuff, especially something 6' or longer, you won'' want this car. It's really for passengers. The rear seat is cavernous, even with front seats all the way back. Some trunk capacity was given to passengers. Every time I drive this Avalon, I think i got a cream puff with <100K miles and I think I made a good purchase. Truth is, I'll probably stick with Toyota--or Honda--for my next several cars. There's a lot to be said for their quality and dependability. I bought my daughter a used 2013 standard shift Accord and it is nothing short of amazing. 60K and it's like fresh out of the showroom.

Just returned from a round trip to Illinois and driving the speed limits, averaged 33 mpg, which includes a traffic tie up in the Twin Cities, and side winds the entire trip. Couldn't be any better! Fantastic ride and handling!

Very Close to Lexus

I traded my Lexus LS430 for the Avalon and so far I really like it. It handles better than I expected and the gas milage has been fantastic! It has all the amenities I was wanting and so far has been trouble free. I drove 900 miles in one day last week (yes, 900 miles) and the journey was pretty comfortable the whole trip! So far I am very happy with my purchase. The car is no stunner in the looks department but I like it and prefer a less-flashy car in these times. Also, to the poster who said it was ugly why would you buy it based on all the negative comments you made? Didn't you see it / test drive it before you bought it? Maybe get help before your next purchase next time.
