This was the first car I was given when I first got my license. The one I had was an XLS, so in its day it was pretty nice. But by the time she came to me it had a bunch of interior stains, a huge dent just in front of the passenger side door, radio didn't work, and the car made 1960s Sci-Fi film UFO sounds when I ran the A/C, a whole bunch of little issues. But this thing ran, and she made it to 213424 miles before I totaled it about a year after I got it. It was a decently scary wreck, front end damage, air bags deployed, and it was enough damage to be considered totaled for sure. But I came out with only a sprained finger and some scratches on my chest from the airbag breaking the corset I was wearing. Considering that I don't even know if this car was designed with "crumple zones" or not due to its age, she handled the accident well. If you're going to get a car this old, I think I would recommend this one.

I purchased the vehicle used at 60k miles. After driving it for another 100k miles, I have not had any repairs to make. Many opportunities at routine maintenance (oil, brake pads, tires, timing...). The interior has held up and does not rattle and nor has begun to deteriorate as my previous Buick Le Sabre did at 80k miles (could stand driving it any longer). The words I would used to describe this vehicle is reliable and competent. It does not stand out in any automotive driving category, but simply does all well. The vehicle will also hold three full size car seats in the rear.

The most dependable car I have ever owned. Fun to drive and a beautiful car. I hated to part with it and it made me a Toyota loyal person. I loved the spoiler on the car as well.
