My most favourite vehicle I have ever driven. Who cares about the gas mileage. It is the total cost of ownership. With a resale value of the vehicle. Closest thing to an investment in a car you will ever get.

I had only used cars but now with my new job I had the chance for look for a new car! My main goal was to buy one which fits my family but also works well around the rural areas we live in and top of all that....has a great quality! I obviously considered Jeep and Bronco BUT they overcharge or you just don't get what you pay for. Based on research and reviews I went ahead quick to I look at the Toyota 4Runner and I have to tell you buying this car was my best decision in my life. I never had Toyota before but everything I heard about quality and reliability is 100% true. ALSO the car is just super pretty! I got mine with the TRD tires and wheels to give some extra rough look to it and I'm super satisfied! I don't think I will switch brand nor car for a long time! <333

After owning 3 Toyota's - no longer a fan

I have owned a new Tacoma, highlander and now 4Runner. Safe to say I am no longer a fan and going back to my Chevy Tahoe. Just get on a FB group site and read all the problem that happen with these 4runners. The motor might be great, but the paint is so thin that my new white 6 month old 4Runner has so many chips and shows black under neath. I mostly drive to the store and back and I stay far from other, rust spot already, the area above the dash deteriorates fast, cheap seat material. People have shown how fast they rust underneath, in the door seals, on the paint... Not for me.

I was originally going to get a newer Taco but the delays and first model year issue drove to me a TRIED and TRUE suv with reliability. originally a Dodge man but after that truck basically fell apart at 85k I said never Dodge/jeep again. Purchased a Toyota Camry in 2011 and beat the hell out of it and it just won't die (still have it), at one point I couldn't afford to get my breaks fixed on it so I just downshifted with the transmission to slow me down and the Toyota STILL wouldn't die, so I said I owe it to them w/brand loyalty to get another Toyota. was looking at the bronco, ranger, Colorado, frontier ext ext but nothing hit that sweet spot of offroad/quite cabin. I picked this up just until the landcover comes out and the bugs are worked out on that new vehicle, but now for some reason I can't see myself ever selling this thing. Initially I wasn't crazy about the 4runner but for some reason it just keeps growing on me and I can't wait to get in and drive it. I just can't put my finger on it but I love it. I also tend to take naps/sleep in the vehicle when im far away from home and this enclosed cabin is ideal for that because it lays almost flat in the back w/seats down. highly recommend.
