This 4runner handles very well. I wish the gas mileage was a little bit better. V6 245hp and 5hp more than V8. Smooth just like my brandy.

The new 4Runner has to be one of the easiest to own vehicles that there is on the market today. You get Toyota quality in and out, marked with a vehicle that is purposeful and stylish. I love the way it looks on the outside, especially the Sport models, the rims and scoop look so much better to me. The interior fits me great, I am 6'3" and fit no problem, room to haul junk in the back, features and pockets everywhere. The sunroof is quiet, the stereo rocks, the ride is unheard of in an American car or truck, yes, its that good.

So Far So Good

Just brought our 4Runner home a short while ago but the test drives and initial week or two of driving have been impressive. Went to buy a Mercedes ML430 or similar upscale vehicle but resale values, reliablility ratings, and features for the dollar made the 4Runner the best deal.

SR5 V6 - Great truck!

I compared many SUV's in this class and it would be silly to buy anything else for what this vehicle can offer. Great comfort, nice ride, awesome technology, and a strong name to back it. It makes me wonder why anybody would buy an Explorer, Trailblazer, or any JEEP product. My only gripe is that McGeorge Toyota in Richmond, VA may not be the best place to do business. Look elsewhere.

Why bother looking at anything else

I waited 6 months before rating the 4Runner so I would be objective and not name struck. This vehicle is second to none, you can forget about other SUVs...at about 40-50% less than the price of "other" performance SUVs, you are getting rear end kicking performance, comfort and build quality 2nd to none. Don't even listen to anyone comparing this ride to an Exp or Path...I have taken this vehicle on rough roads, icy roads, and deep snow, the 4Run handles them all with ease. Drive this bad boy and you will see...
